Job DescriptionSUMMARY Under the general supervision of the FAVP of Marketing, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of all marketing campaigns, social media, and brand awareness efforts. The Marketing Manager manages the Marketing department, executes the annual Marketing strategy and budget, and is the administrator for the corporate website. Manages the Marketing Department through effective recruitment, direction, mentoring, and performance reviews. Works closely with the FAVP of Marketing and CoastHills stakeholders to develop and execute an effective annual marketing strategy and annual marketing budget that meets or exceeds organizational goals. Manages the strategy and content for all member and non-member marketing channels, including but not limited to email, push-notifications, online ads, in-branch, direct mail, as well as traditional and non-tradition media. Develops or directs the development of all Marketing campaigns including strategy, content and creative development, design, performance reporting, and ROI. In coordination with the Marketing Officer, directs development of the organization’s comprehensive social media, online reputation, and financial wellness strategies that effectively build brand awareness and achieve marketing and organizational goals. Administrates corporate website and manages website support vendor, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Measures website performance and makes recommendations to optimize the digital experience. In coordination with the Marketing Operations Officer, directs all in-branch marketing initiatives including displays and materials, as well as setting clear expectations with branch and contact center management and staff. Directs the coordination, production and distribution of all CoastHills merchandising and logo wear, including vendor and budget management. Ensures the compliance, consistency and accuracy of the CoastHills brand and voice throughout all marketing channels. Provides key marketing support to Credit Union project teams as needed. Manages outside vendor partners that support the Credit Union’s marketing efforts. Conducts industry and competitive research to support product and service recommendations, and to guide in the development of Marketing concepts and campaigns. Supports or manages internal culture, brand engagement, and community outreach efforts and events. QUALIFICATIONS The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability preferred for the performance of essential functions in this position. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related fields preferred. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing marketing channels at a financial institution or related industry. Skilled in public speaking; able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and externally with vendors, media, and the public. Develops a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Superb writing skills. Certificates, Licenses and Registrations None. Knowledge Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions and determine strategies based on data. Expertise in website content management systems and with HTML. Strong graphic design and desktop publishing skills. Strong photography and video skills, including editing. Excellent organizational skills. Other Skills and Abilities Ability to communicate effectively with staff and members in a timely manner. Maintain a member service-oriented mindset. Practice good judgment and self-management, ensuring high quality outcomes. Possess or obtain a valid driver’s license and provide proof of insurance. Operates a variety of office equipment and machines. Ability to travel, attend, and participate in meetings, seminars, and conferences held before and after normal business hours that may require unaccompanied long-distance travel and overnight lodging.
