American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Columbia, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 11/03/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Work in a Neuro ICU setting at a hospital, • Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 19:00 to 07:30, • Typical patient ratio is 1:2, • Care for neuro ICU patients requiring strong neuro and stroke experience, • Every other weekend and 50% of holidays on contract required, • Floating required to ICU, Med Surg, and potentially as Patient Observer throughout the hospital, • Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required, • Provide comprehensive neuro critical care, including management of stroke patients, • Must be willing to float to various hospital units as needed, including Patient Observer (sitter) roles, • Complete required hospital modules during orientation and annually, • Return travelers within 18 months are not required to attend re-orientation, • Local candidates accepted within 75 miles at a reduced rate\n \n Requirements\n, • Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration, • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, • Minimum 1 year of recent Neuro ICU experience required, • ICU and stroke experience required, • Minimum 2 years of total RN experience preferred, • CPI certification preferred; may be completed onsite, • Must provide two professional references from a charge nurse or higher\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
