Rosedale, a vibrant Baltimore suburb, provides easy access to Maryland healthcare jobs, excellent amenities, and a welcoming community. • Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1430 - $1530 per week, • Location: Rosedale, MD 21237 (Baltimore area), • Healthcare Setting: Hospital – Adult Critical Care & NICU, • Employment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapist Contract, • Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/16/2026), • Shift: Night shifts, 3x12 hours/week (18:30 – 07:00), • Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend; holiday coverage required, • Float Requirement: Float between Adult Critical Care and NICU units, • Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital, • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Adult Critical Care and NICU, • At least 1 prior travel healthcare assignment completed, • Active Maryland State Respiratory Therapist license or compact license, • BLS and CRT certifications required, • ACLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT certifications preferred, • ED (Emergency Department) and trauma experience preferred, • Proficiency with Cerner charting system, • Two supervisor references required, • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions), • Perform airway management: endotracheal tube/suctioning, extubation, nasal/oral airway placement, tracheostomy care, and pulmonary hygiene, • Collect sputum specimens and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs), • Administer respiratory medications (Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, inhaled steroids, etc.), • Set up and manage aerosol therapy, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), BiPAP, CPAP, and trach collars, • Troubleshoot high pressure alarms and assist in ventilator weaning, • Assist in high-risk deliveries and perform umbilical blood gas analysis, • Operate advanced ventilators (Draeger V500, Draeger VN500, Servo U) We believe in empowering your career.
