This role emphasizes patient and employee safety, continuous quality improvement, and effective teamwork to provide superior quality care. \n\nResponsibilities\n\n • Assess patient’s level of functioning upon physician orders and plan appropriate treatment.\n, • Participate in the interdisciplinary team process and discharge planning for each patient.\n, • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and students, ensuring competence in therapy practice.\n, • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to promote understanding of treatment and discharge plans.\n, • Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge dispositions in accordance with department policies.\n, • Foster a safe work environment by adhering to safety policies and procedures.\n, • Provide education and training to patients and families regarding adaptive equipment and therapeutic processes.\n\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n\n, • Must hold a valid and current State license as an Occupational Therapist.\n, • BLS Certification required prior to first shift.\n, • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Occupational Therapy is required.\n\n\nSchedule\n This position offers a Day 5x8.0 schedule. \n\nWhy ARMStaffing?\n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
