1. Staff Management: Oversee hiring, training, and scheduling of nail technicians and support staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing support. 2. Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a high level of service is maintained. Build relationships with clients and encourage repeat business. 3. Financial Management: Assist in budgeting, managing expenses, processing payroll, and keeping track of daily revenue. Handle invoicing and payment processing. 4. Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels for nail products and supplies, placing orders when necessary. Ensure that the salon is stocked and organized. 5. Marketing and Promotions: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Manage social media and online presence to promote salon services. 6. Compliance and Sanitation: Ensure the salon complies with health and safety regulations. Oversee the cleanliness and sanitation of the salon and equipment. 7. Appointment Management: Handle booking systems, manage appointments, and ensure efficient scheduling to minimize wait times for clients. 8. Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on sales, customer satisfaction, and staff performance to identify areas for improvement. 9. Collaboration: Work closely with the owner or manager to align on business goals, policies, and operations. 10. Customer Experience Enhancements: Continuously seek ways to improve the overall customer experience, from service quality to salon ambiance.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direct supervision to a team of Community Technicians. Assist Operations Coordinator with the oversight of departmental tasks and goals. This includes, but is not limited to, record keeping, statistical reports, unit coverage, and client care/crisis intervention. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. HOURS: Full-time 37.5 hours per week Tues-Sat 11pm-7:30am Saturday-Wednesday 3:00pm-11:30pm Saturday-Wednesday 11pm-7:30am QUALIFICATIONS: H.S. diploma/GED required. B.A. preferred. At least one-year supervisory experience preferred. Experience working with homeless, mentally ill, and substance abuse populations preferred. Compensation $42,496/$21.79 per hour PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: In August 2012, BRC opened its first assessment center, which serves as a first point of contact for men entering the city shelter system. Located in a newly renovated loft-style building in Greenpoint Brooklyn, this 200 bed dormitory style residence is funded by the NYC Department of Homeless Services. BRC evaluates each individual who enters the program and links them to the housing and services that best meets their needs. In addition, as a result of our continued dialogue with DHS and community leaders, BRC has dedicated one dorm (20 beds) to street homeless men of the Greenpoint community, an unprecedented commitment by the shelter system to provide a community-based strategy to respond to a significant local need.

Qualifications: ● High School diploma or GED/equivalent certification required ● Apple, Samsung Official Certifications required ● A+ Repair Certification preferred W.I.S.E. Certifcation Preferred ● The ability to read, write and communicate proficiently in English, to read and comprehend assembly manuals and process documentation ● Secondary language appreciated ● Troubleshooting and assembly experience for Apple and Android devices ● Troubleshooting and assembly experience for Windows and Mac computers ● 3+ years of experience in mobile repair preferred We are excited to launch our institution into the rapidly growing world of mobile repair, and are looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of repair technician instructor for our new state approved electronics repair courses. ● This person will be responsible for training students in our facility with a wide range of certified courses from Apple device repair, to the fundamentals of soldering, and much more, and must have proficient experience and knowledge in electronics repair.
