Job Description The Mixologist/Bartender is responsible for delivering professional, friendly, and efficient beverage service in a high-volume, outdoor festival setting. You will ensure a premium guest experience by providing fast service while maintaining strict compliance with TABC regulations and event standards. Key Responsibilities • Beverage Excellence: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic (beer, wine, cocktails) and non-alcoholic beverages with speed and accuracy., • Bar Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area; ensure proper storage and handling of beer and liquor., • TABC Compliance: Strictly adhere to TABC regulations, including mandatory ID checks and monitoring guest consumption to prevent over-intoxication., • Guest Engagement: Provide upbeat customer service, handle inquiries about selections/promotions, and resolve concerns professionally., • Financial Accuracy: Operate POS systems, process cash and credit transactions, and maintain precise cash-handling procedures., • Certification: Valid TABC certification is required., • Experience: Prior experience in bartending, high-volume concessions, or special events is preferred., • Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication, and a "cool under pressure" attitude., • Schedule: Ability to work the full duration of the event (April 10th–13th), including evenings and weekends. Physical & Environmental Demands • Environment: Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, loud, and crowded outdoor setting (subject to heat, humidity, or rain)., • Physicality: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs (e.g., kegs or cases of beer)., • Transportation: Group transport provided to and from San Antonio daily., • Environment: Dynamic, team-oriented festival atmosphere.Company DescriptionLabor On Demand, Inc. d.b.a.
