American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Columbus, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: MRI Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 10/20/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Work in a hospital-based MRI department specializing in both inpatient and outpatient imaging, • Average daily caseload of 35–40 cases, focusing on oncology, neuro, abdominal, and MSK scans, • Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, • Procedures include fusion imaging (non-brain), gradient echo, advanced post-processing (ADC mapping, subtraction), MIP, MRP, perfusion, spectroscopy, spin echo, surface coils, T1 & T2 weighted, and spine imaging (cervical, lumbar, thoracic), • Equipment includes Siemens systems and PACS, • Electronic documentation charted in Epic EMR, • Night shift schedule: Sunday to Tuesday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, block schedule, • Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon accepting the offer, • Time off requests must be included with initial application, • Former employees eligible after a 6-month break; current Ohio State employees ineligible for travel roles, • Locals within driving distance are accepted for this position, • Proper identification and compliance documentation will be required, • Scrub requirements and holiday coverage information will be provided upon assignment\n \n Requirements\n, • Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required, • Current ARRT and BLS certifications required, • Valid Ohio State MRI license required if applicable, • Experience with Siemens MRI equipment and PACS, • Proficiency in abdominal, pelvis, chest, brain, face/neck, hip, knee, shoulder, and spine imaging, • Experience in adult ICU, pediatric acute, and outpatient care settings, • Two professional references required, including one from a formal supervisor or manager\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
