Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Technical Manager, Radiology (Sunset Park, Brooklyn). The Technical Manager of Radiology is responsible for the overall technical, clinical, administrative, and operational oversight of all radiology patient care sections. This role oversees Lead Technologists, regulates patient flow throughout the department, and ensures compliance with quality assurance, regulatory, safety, and clinical performance standards. Serving as a leader and role model, the Technical Manager collaborates closely with the Administrative Director, Section Chiefs, institution practice managers, nursing leadership, radiology management teams, technologists, and support personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality imaging services. The Technical Manager supports staffing, performance management, equipment planning, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement across the department. Job Responsibilities: Leadership & Departmental Operations • Oversees daily technical operations across all radiology sections to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant patient care., • Monitors patient flow, care, and safety to ensure adherence to departmental procedures and standards., • Approves scheduling procedures and prioritizes patient schedules to maximize utilization of staff and facilities., • Establishes and maintains standards of technical excellence and professionalism across all imaging modalities., • Serves as a clinical and operational leader and role model for radiology staff. Clinical Quality & Performance Oversight • Periodically monitors diagnostic imaging procedures to ensure image quality and consistency with physician orders., • Identifies performance variances and takes corrective action through direct intervention or staff communication to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes., • Utilizes audit results, quality assurance data, and incident reports to improve service quality and patient outcomes., • Ensures departmental policies and procedures are current, well organized, accessible, and consistently followed. Staffing, Hiring & Performance Management • Coordinates recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and performance management of professional technical staff., • Has primary responsibility for recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and hiring professional technical staff., • Plans, organizes, and directs staff orientation and ongoing training programs in accordance with medical center and departmental policies., • Ensures assignments are clearly communicated and followed through to completion., • Conducts performance evaluations after probation and annually thereafter, with additional evaluations as needed., • Provides timely counseling, coaching, and performance improvement plans when indicated., • Implements disciplinary actions in accordance with NYU Langone Health policies when necessary., • Allocates staffing and technical resources appropriately to meet operational demands., • Assists with recruitment planning for future radiology sites. Equipment, Supplies & Capital Planning • Oversees evaluation, acquisition, utilization, and maintenance of imaging equipment and technical resources., • Develops and implements inventory control systems for imaging supplies and technical operations., • Periodically evaluates the condition and performance of imaging equipment and recommends upgrades or replacements., • Assists in long-range planning for equipment, space, and technical staffing needs., • Provides budgetary input based on current operations and projected growth., • Ensures equipment is maintained per manufacturer specifications and that maintenance and repair records are accurate and complete., • Reviews and approves service reports., • Represents the department in interactions with vendors and initiates quotes, purchases, service, and maintenance contracts to ensure cost-effective operations. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance • Oversees departmental quality control and quality assurance programs., • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements governing radiological services., • Maintains awareness of current regulatory standards and ensures departmental policies align accordingly., • Ensures compliance with Joint Commission (JCAHO) and other accrediting and regulatory agencies., • Inspects patient care and work areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards., • Reviews quality control documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness., • Collaborates with the Radiation Safety Officer to ensure compliance with the Radiation Safety Program., • Works with ancillary departments, nursing leadership, hospital committees, and Patient Relations/Ombudsman teams to maintain standards of care. Collaboration & Administrative Support • Plays an active leadership role in planning, organizing, and implementing departmental initiatives and strategic directives., • Works closely with Section Chiefs, site managers, nursing leadership, radiology managers, technologists, and support staff to achieve departmental goals., • Communicates expectations, responsibilities, and performance standards clearly to site managers and staff., • Coordinates with Patient Relations Specialists to address patient concerns and service recovery as needed. Professional Responsibilities • Maintains a high level of technical knowledge and leadership competency., • Demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, and accountability in all interactions., • Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree required Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine (as applicable) New York State License in Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound (as applicable) Current registration with ARRT, ARDMS, or equivalent credentialing body Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience In lieu of five (5) years of leadership experience, ten (10) years of clinical experience as a technologist will be accepted, or a combination of leadership and clinical experience equating to ten (10) years, with a minimum of six (6) years of clinical experience as a technologist. Required Licenses: Radiography - R.T. (R)(ARRT), Am Rgtry Diagn Med Sonographer. (WSFSSH) is a community-based organization responding to the need for low-cost housing. Our mission is to provide safe, affordable housing with supportive services within a residential setting that enhances the independence and dignity of each person. WSFSSH develops, manages, and provides social services in housing for low-income persons, especially those who are older, who have experienced homelessness and who live with mental illness. Job Summary Under the direct supervision of the Area Manager, the superintendent is responsible for proper upkeep and maintenance of the building with the goal of providing a safe, well-maintained facility for residents and staff. The Superintendent will carry out all repairs and preventive maintenance tasks within the building and on the grounds. He/she will be responsible to ensure that all maintenance and custodial work is being done properly and in a timely manner. The superintendent will also oversee projects to guide them to successful and timely conclusions. The superintendent must demonstrate a consistent ability to be flexible to the changing daily needs of the community and to prioritize effectively. Job Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Specific responsibilities include: • Prepare vacant apartments (within thirty (30) days) for occupancy, • Assure that needed Painting, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning tasks (repairs, upgrades, cleaning, basic maintenance) are performed in a competent and timely manner, • Maintain grease traps, • Strip and wax floors, • Perform minor repairs on small appliances, including: roof fans, air-conditioners, stoves, refrigerators, etc, • Implement energy and water conservation projects as mandated by owner/management, • Ensure that all maintenance and custodial work in the building is being done properly and in a timely manner, • Ensure that all tenant work requests are responded to within 24 hours, however, in case of emergency, ensure that the situation is addressed immediately. Documentation: • The superintendent must submit to management the following:, • Written requests for janitorial, maintenance, and repair supplies when needed., • Superintendent Weekly Report with attached completed work request orders, • Daily maintenance log report, • Janitorial supplies inventory list, • Apartment appliances list with model and serial numbers, • Fire extinguisher and smoke/carbon detector location list, • Exhaust fan location list, • Provide a weekly heating report and follow up on heat complaints during the heating season months (October 1st-May 31st) Equipment: • Ensure that all operating equipment is maintained properly and implement procedures in the event of equipment malfunctioning, • Perform preventive maintenance checks on all machinery and report any defects and preventive measures to management; also, monitor, and ensure that proper preventive maintenance tasks are being performed thoroughly as prescribed, and on schedule, • Observe water, electrical meters, and boiler system gauges to ensure proper operation, and report any malfunctions to management, • Liaison with service contractors i.e. (heating system, generator, elevator, compactor, laundry machines, and fire alarm system) when necessary, in case of break-down or emergencies Garbage: • Assure proper on-site recycling procedures that the building complies with all mandated recycling programs, • Assure that all staff handling garbage follow appropriate procedures and wear protective attire i.e. goggles, gloves, rubber apron, steel toe boots, • Ensure the proper functioning and cleanliness of the compactors chute, • Ensure that the garbage is bagged properly according to sanitation codes, and that garbage and recycling items are set out for pickup as scheduled Code & Compliance: • Assist with all code compliance items, with the goal of maintaining consistent and complete compliance with all code requirements. Due to the different age and size of the buildings, different codes may apply to the three different buildings., • Provide building access to all Government agencies, accompany them on inspection, and report any issues or deficiencies immediately to management. Because the three buildings were constructed at different times, while some inspections cover the entire complex, others are separate and distinct for each building., • Monitor tags on fire extinguishers and any other fire safety equipment, and report any deficiencies to management Building & Grounds: • Ensure the operations and maintenance of all three buildings are held to the same standard., • Ensure that all glass windows and exit doors are clean and free of obstruction. CFR is committed to providing robust supervision to program staff, and we have a need for a Litigation Supervisor in the Bronx. Under the supervision of the YDP Director and Deputy Director, the Litigation Supervisor’s primary responsibility will be to supervise up to four or five staff attorneys of varying degrees of experience who work in interdisciplinary teams with social work, youth advocate, peer advocate, client coordinator and paralegal staff to represent children in Article 3 Juvenile Delinquency proceedings, Persons in Need of Supervision (PINS), occasional Youth Part cases and other related family court proceedings. Since 2016, Correctional Health Services (CHS) has been the direct provider of health care in the New York City jails. Deeply committed to human dignity and patient rights, CHS is part of the NYC Health + Hospitals system and is a key partner in the City’s efforts to reform the criminal-legal system. Our in-jail clinical services include medical, nursing, and mental health care; pharmacy services; substance-use treatment; social work; dental and vision care; discharge planning; and reentry support. Given the high visibility of this initiative, we are seeking the highest caliber health care professionals in key clinical services to staff our Outposted Therapeutic Housing Units (OTxHU). To be located in three NYC Health + Hospital acute care facilities, the OTxHU is a pioneering approach to safely increasing access to high quality clinical care for patients in custody who have complicated health conditions. OTxHUs will bridge the gap in the continuum between care provided in the jails and inpatient hospitalization, with admission to and discharge from the OTxHU in accordance with a patient’s clinical needs. Job Description Position Overview: Will have a caseload of 10 participants ages 14-18. Career Coach will Facilitate groups, preferably Restorative Justice circles. The Career Coach would run a Career Club for participants in the Advanced stage once a week. Career Clun meetings will cover work-related topics such as, career planning, goal setting, resume building, interviewing, and conflict resolution. The Career Coach would be responsible for assisting the Program Manager in developing and securing Project and Internship sites for participants. Career Coach will meet with participants 1:1 to go over program performance. Career Coach will go over score cards with youth on a daily basis that address Attendance, Preparedness, Performance, Attitude, and Participation.
