Job Description At Volt, our greatest strength is our people Volt is immediately hiring for Threadroll Operator Trainee in the City of Industry, CA. As a Threadroll Operator Trainee you will: • Be able to use and set all gages, micrometers, calipers, plug and ring gages, comparator, and microscope, • Understands ThreadRoll part feature terminology, • Read and interpret part drawings, work instructions, process control procedures, policies and procedures, • Be able to use the necessary measuring tools, • Recognizes improper machine functioning and takes action to report any safety concerns, • Perform first piece verification process per part print and do loaf pan inspections Perform daily 5S on work area and equipment and understands lean principles, • Perform preventative maintenance daily at shift start, • Good communication skill and know basic shop math, • Pass production stamp test, • Understands QMS, • Be able to complete transactions in Shop-Trak accurately This is a Full-Time, Temp-To-Hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Required Skills & Qualifications: • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in thread rolling aircraft quality fasteners on various types of ThreadRoll machines; or equivalent combination of education and experience., • Required to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals., • Required to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals., • Required to read and understand blueprints., • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred Skills & Qualifications: • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear., • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts., • The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. Job Title: Threadroll Operator Trainee Location: City of Industry, CA Duration: 03+ Months Shift Timings: 2nd shift 01:30 AM – 10:00 PM (Monday – Friday) + with possible OT **Saturdays as needed MUST TRAIN ON 1st Shift for 2-3 MONTHS Pay Range: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
