Job Description Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Sign Maker / Graphic Designer with a strong background in both sign design and sign production. The right candidate will be equally comfortable creating layouts for customer approval and producing finished signs in the shop. This is not a marketing or general graphic design role — all design experience must be directly related to signage. Responsibilities • Design signage concepts and production files using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and FlexiSIGN., • Prepare and produce signs using a wide range of substrates, vinyl, laminates, and adhesives., • Operate and maintain large-format printer, plotter, and laminator., • Apply digital prints and cut vinyl to rigid substrates and panels with precision., • Perform light installations such as applying vinyl to windows/doors and mounting dimensional letters on interior walls., • Ensure accuracy, quality, and on-time completion of multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment., • Maintain accurate job records and documentation., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area., • Provide occasional front-end customer support (phone or in-person) with professionalism and product knowledge., • Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in sign making and sign-related design., • Proven hands-on expertise with FlexiSIGN, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop in sign design and production., • Strong knowledge of sign materials, substrates, vinyl, and fabrication techniques., • Experience with large-format printing, cutting, laminating, and finishing., • Solid understanding of color theory and color management., • Hands-on experience applying vinyl graphics and mounting dimensional signs., • Valid NJ driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle for local travel to job sites (mileage reimbursed)., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment., • Competitive compensation package., • Paid vacation and holidays. Job Description Full time position for a Mechanical Designer to generate and update 3D Autodesk Inventor models for product, tools, and fixture components and assemblies. Generate and update detailed dimensioned drawings for components and assemblies. Generate & update bills of materials. · Develop design concepts and prepares documents for custom designs. Corrects and updates design documents as needed. · Uses computer aided design technologies to develop sketches, drawings and assembly documents. Reviews drawings and documents to assure compliance with company design and production standards. · Ability to read/interpret assembly and product specification drawings. · Create sheet metal fabrication drawings to comply with standards. · Generate assembly drawings for production and customer documentation. · Generate Bill of Materials for data entry and prepare Engineering Change Orders as necessary. · Highly motivated, self-starter · Experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. · Sheet metal experience a plus. Position Summary: The Footwear Designer – Children’s Shoes will lead the design and development process for seasonal children’s footwear collections, ensuring alignment with The Children’s Place brand DNA, consumer needs, and business strategies. The ideal candidate is a trend-savvy, consumer-obsessed designer with deep knowledge of children’s footwear design, construction, fit, and safety requirements. They will balance creativity with commercial viability and partner cross-functionally to bring innovative, functional, and fun footwear to market. Key Accountabilities: • Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of seasonal children’s footwear collections across multiple categories (infant, toddler, and big kids)., • Research global fashion trends, competitive landscape, materials, and consumer insights to inform forward-thinking and brand-right designs., • Create compelling sketches, tech packs, and prototypes that communicate design vision with clarity and detail., • Ensure designs meet both aesthetic and functional needs unique to children’s footwear (comfort, durability, safety, ease of use)., • Partner with Merchandising, and Sourcing teams to ensure design intent is translated into high-quality, cost-effective products and meets our target AUC., • Review samples and prototypes, providing detailed feedback on fit, construction, materials, and trim to refine product to final approval stage., • Balance innovation with commercial viability, ensuring products are trend-right, age-appropriate, and aligned with brand pricing architecture., • Present seasonal concepts, design directions, and line reviews to leadership, merchandising, and cross-functional partners., • Collaborate with Graphic Design, Apparel Design, and Marketing teams to ensure product matches back and is cohesive across categories., • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, factories, and suppliers, communicating clearly to achieve design execution excellence. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Footwear Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or related field., • 5+ years of professional footwear design experience, with a strong focus on children’s footwear preferred., • Proven track record of developing successful footwear collections from concept through production. Skills and Behaviors: • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Miro, and Microsoft Office., • Excellent sketching, rendering, and technical drawing abilities., • Knowledge of footwear construction, lasts, fit requirements, and child-specific safety standards, • Strong understanding of color theory, materials, and trend forecasting., • Must be able to work towards multiple deadlines with shifting priorities.
