Job DescriptionSalary: negotiable Job Title:Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner /(NP) The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner / (NP) role at Mindology involves the clinician providing diagnostic and medication management services to patients of Mindology. The clinician can expect to collaborate with other members of the psychiatry team, as well as psychologists and therapists at Mindology. The clinician may have opportunities to assist in training of other PA, NP and medical students training by being available to be shadowed during those students rotations. The NP will be provided with administrative support for prior authorizations, prescriptions and basic phone calls. Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Conduct patient assessments and provide care consistent with accepted professional standards, including evaluations, treatment, referral, and related documentation., • Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, • Attend case consultations and collaborate with other providers within the clinic., • Prior experience managing psychiatric patients, treatments, and medication, • Capable of functioning independently to provide psychiatric care in an outpatient setting, • Ability to work with diverse groups and maintain confidentiality, • Has no pending actions by the board in any state, • Must be currently credentialed with insurance, or be willing to become credentialed, • Comfortable in the use our technology suite: Microsoft 360, EHR / EMR Systems, etc, • Knowledge of HIPAA policies and best practices., • The ability to work as a team, • Maintains a positive attitude, • Well-organized with a strong attention to detail, • Successful completion of a formal nurse practitioner program, approved by a national agency., • Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner, • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer, • 1099 Contractor, starting at $65 per hour. Compensation based upon experience.
