Job DescriptionSalary: TBD Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Behavioral Health Location:Louisville, KY Organization:GetWell Healthsystems Employment Type:Full-Time OR Part Time Position Summary GetWell Healthsystems is seeking a dedicatedPsychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Behavioral HealthorPhysician Assistant (PA) specializing in Psychiatryto join our Behavioral Health team. This provider will deliver high-quality psychiatric care in an outpatient setting, working closely with therapists, case managers, and clinical leadership to ensure comprehensive mental health treatment for our patients. Key Responsibilities • Conductcomprehensive psychiatric evaluationsand mental health assessments., • Diagnosepsychiatric disorders and develop individualized treatment plans., • Prescribe and manage medications, including ongoing monitoring, dosage adjustments, and side-effect evaluation., • Providemedication management follow-upappointments., • Order, review, and interpretlaboratory workupor diagnostic tests as clinically indicated., • Collaborate with amultidisciplinary teamincluding psychiatrists, therapists, and behavioral health staff., • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and wellness strategies., • Maintain accurate, timelyclinical documentationin the electronic health record (EHR)., • Participate in case discussions, treatment planning, and clinical quality initiatives., • Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing with Psychiatric-Mental Health specialization., • Active RN and APRN licenses in Indiana or Kentucky (depending on worksite)., • National certification asPMHNP-BC., • DEA registration or eligibility., • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program., • Active PA license in Indiana or Kentucky., • National PA certification., • Clinical experience in psychiatry or mental health highly preferred., • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making ability., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams., • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to behavioral healthcare., • Outpatient clinic settingserving adult and/or adolescent populations., • Team-based environment with strong clinical support., • Predictable schedule with consistent patient volume.
