Job DescriptionSenior Payroll Analyst (Contract - 8 Months, Hybrid) Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid Schedule) Compensation: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour, depending on experience We are seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Payroll Analyst to join our client's payroll team on an 8-month contract. This hybrid role is ideal for a payroll professional who brings deep technical payroll knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and support complex payroll processing for multi-state and/or high-volume employee populations, • Review, audit, and analyze payroll data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness, • Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll regulations, tax compliance, and best practices, • Reconcile payroll accounts and support payroll-related general ledger activities, • Analyze payroll variances, labor costs, and reporting discrepancies, • Manage payroll audits, including internal, external, and regulatory audits, • Support payroll system enhancements, implementations, and process improvements, • Partner with HR, Benefits, and Accounting teams to ensure accurate employee and payroll data, • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior payroll staff as neededQualifications:, • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred, • 5+ years of payroll experience, including complex or multi-state payroll environments, • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations, • Experience with payroll systems and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), • Proven experience with payroll reconciliations, audits, and reporting, • High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail, • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsWork Schedule: If you are interested in this or other job opportunities available through LHH Recruitment Solutions, please submit your resume today at !
