Job Description ABOUT OUR CLIENT: MP's client customizes 401k plans. They use low-cost employer investments which ultimately unburdens HR departments, they delegate fiduciary responsibilities and integrate with payroll. Their mission is to provide accurate, efficient service plan sponsors and participants can rely on. WHO YOU ARE A Recordkeeping Analyst that will focus on the coordination, tracking, and quality control on their contributions and distributions functions. This person will ensure that contributions are submitted, recorded, and reconciled properly, and that distributions are handled in accordance with plan documents and regulatory requirements. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Key Responsibilities • Contribution Oversight, • Monitor, track, and reconcile payroll contribution submissions for both single-employer and multiple-employer plans., • Coordinate with employers, payroll providers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate posting of contributions., • Perform quality control reviews to detect errors, discrepancies, or late deposits, and drive corrective action., • Distribution Oversight, • Track and manage participant distribution requests (terminations, rollovers, hardships, loans, RMDs, etc.)., • Ensure all distributions comply with plan documents, IRS/DOL rules, and are processed accurately., • Review documentation for completeness and correctness prior to processing., • Quality Control & Tracking, • Develop and maintain tracking tools and dashboards to monitor workflows, timelines, KPIs, and compliance., • Conduct QC audits on processed transactions to ensure accuracy and data integrity., • Identify root causes of errors and propose process/control improvements., • Coordination & Communication, • Act as liaison between internal teams (recordkeeping operations, compliance, client services) and external stakeholders (employers, TPAs, payroll providers, advisors)., • Provide regular status updates, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure timely resolution., • Support audits, compliance reviews, and special projects., • Respond to inbound phone calls and inquiries from participants, sponsors, and financial advisors., • Answer questions regarding contributions, distributions, and general plan operations., • Communicate professionally and clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences., • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience accepted., • Minimum of 2 years' experience in retirement plan recordkeeping, TPA services, or a similar financial services operation., • Understanding of qualified retirement plan regulations (IRS, DOL) and plan document provisions., • Proficiency using Pivot Tables, formulas (VLOOKUP, CONCAT, INDEX, CLEAN, TRIM), conditional formatting, sorting, and filtering functions in Microsoft Excel., • Full-time, exempt, • 100% Remote, • Compensation : $60-$70k plus 10% bonus Opportunity, • Full benefits!
