Job DescriptionDescription: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for our customers, assisting with order entry, answering product questions, and ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience. This position plays a key role in supporting our sales efforts and maintaining strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: • Enter and process customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently., • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, availability, pricing, order status, and basic application questions., • Provide general product support and assist customers with troubleshooting or documentation as needed., • Work closely with the sales team to support customer accounts and help address application-related questions., • Coordinate and manage warranty returns, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up., • Assist with maintaining and updating product manuals, catalogs, brochures, and other sales materials., • Support special projects, including product updates and basic research into customer applications when required., • Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related support role (technical product experience is a plus)., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset., • Comfortable answering product-related questions and learning technical information as needed., • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in order entry and documentation., • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment., • Proficiency in standard office software and ERP/order entry systems preferred., • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but relevant experience will be considered. Requirements: Qualifications • Minimum of two years of college coursework in mechanical technology or a related field preferred., • Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints., • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring qualities with a positive, team-oriented approach., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Commitment to treating all coworkers with dignity and respect., • Basic math proficiency and strong organizational skills., • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities., • Frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds., • Ability to maintain close attention to detail when preparing and reviewing data, entering orders, reading documentation, and working on a computer., • Capable of making frequent decisions and adjustments while managing tasks in a fast-paced environment., • Primarily office-based with minimal exposure to temperature changes, hazardous materials, or moving equipment., • Occasional visits to the production floor may be required.
