JOB DESCRIPTION Summary Regal Boats is seeking a driven, execution-focused Project Manager to be responsible for leading the planning, development, and execution of Regal Boats’ new product initiatives from concept through production launch and market adoption. This role is responsible for owning the complete lifecycle of multiple concurrent new product development programs, ensuring scope alignment, timeline execution, cost control, and BOM accuracy across each project. This role oversees engineering project execution while serving as the tactical owner of product development programs. This position drives cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Quality to ensure new models and product improvements are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations and business objectives. The role combines technical project management with product lifecycle ownership, ensuring Regal products remain competitive, innovative, and aligned with market needs. Key Responsibilities • Project & Product Development, • Lead and manage new boat development projects from concept, prototype, validation, and production implementation., • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and bills of materials., • Serve as the tactical owner of product development plans and prioritization for assigned models., • Support new product introductions (NPI), model year transitions, and continuous improvement initiatives., • Ensure engineering deliverables and design releases meet Regal standards and production readiness requirements., • Cross-Functional Leadership, • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Sales, and Marketing., • Facilitate regular project meetings and communicate progress, risks, and milestones to leadership., • Monitor project scope, resource allocation, and competing priorities across multiple initiatives., • Collaborate with Production and Manufacturing teams to support successful product launches., • Market & Product Strategy, • Conduct market research and monitor competitive activity within the boating industry., • Identify customer needs and translate insights into product enhancements and future model development., • Partner with Sales and leadership to support pricing strategies and product positioning., • Establish, enhance, and differentiate Regal products within the competitive marketplace., • Continuous Improvement, • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies., • Drive improvements in engineering workflows, project execution, and product development processes., • Assist leadership with project prioritization and engineering workload planning. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent industry experience., • 3–5+ years of project or product management experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment., • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technical or product development projects., • Knowledge of the boating industry and familiarity with major brands, features, and market trends., • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation., • Highly motivated, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously., • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills., • Conversational English. Preferred Qualifications • Experience designing or managing the development of 20’-30’ boats., • Marine, automotive, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing industry experience., • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) programs., • CAD software familiarity (SolidWorks, Rhino, Siemens NX, CATIA, Pro-E)., • Experience with ERP and/or PLM systems., • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience., • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles., • ABYC Certifications. Work Environment Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature, reaching over 100 degrees Fahrenheit at times. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that a team member must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods. The team member must frequently climb into and out of the boats using stairs. The team member must frequently be able to lift 50 pounds, work 10-hour days with most of the time being on their feet, and work overtime, whether planned or unplanned.
