Community Manager / Private Events Coordinator – Lila's at Greenstreet | Downtown Houston The Role The Community Manager is the hospitality heart of Rebees properties. This leadership position doesn't manage buildings—it shapes experiences. You'll own the complete tenant experience across this mixed-use property: the amenity program, event calendar, brand representation, and every thoughtful touchpoint in between. You're equal parts producer, strategist, host, and steward. You'll live at Lila's, our three-daypart restaurant serving office neighbors, downtown regulars, pregame crowds, and date nights. You'll run shifts, build the service team, and develop Lila's into a premier private event destination. This is not a support role—you'll be the person tenants think of when they think of what makes their property special. What You'll Own Private Event Development & Sales Build and own Lila's private event business—the buyouts, group dinners, receptions, and celebrations that turn the restaurant into a destination people book. Develop real relationships with sales teams at downtown hotels and the convention center. Own every event end-to-end: pitch, proposal, menu and beverage planning with the culinary team, room setup, staffing, and follow-through that turns first bookings into repeat clients. Build and lead a dedicated private event team. Share in the revenue you personally drive—your success directly grows your income. Restaurant Operations & Shift Management Work the floor and set the tone for service. Partner with management to hire, train, and develop the service team to Lila's standard. Collaborate with kitchen and culinary leadership to keep service sharp: flow, timing, guest recovery, and the details that separate good nights from great ones. Protect the Lila's experience on every shift—quiet Tuesday lunches and Saturday buyouts alike. Amenity Program Management Own day-to-day operations of on-site office amenities, shared spaces, training rooms, and proprietary offerings. Manage the member experience across all touchpoints—physical and digital—to reinforce the premium brand promise. Partner with on-site F&B operators to seamlessly integrate food and beverage into tenant experience. Coordinate vendors and service providers to maintain spaces to the highest standard. Tenant Events & Programming Design, produce, and host distinctive programming that builds community and deepens tenant connection—weekly social hours, seasonal celebrations, networking events, tenant-led programming, and curated experiences. Create events that feel intentional, design-forward, and integrated, combining food, beverage, culture, and hospitality in ways that move people. Manage event logistics from conception through execution: vendor coordination, budgeting, communications, setup, staffing, and follow-up. Gather feedback, measure engagement, and continuously refine programming. Brand Representation & Hospitality Leadership Serve as the visible face of Rebees hospitality—embodying warmth, intentionality, and genuine connection. Be the chief steward of the tenant experience, ensuring every physical, digital, and cultural touchpoint meets our brand promise. Develop deep, meaningful relationships with tenants, prospective tenants, and guests. Make them feel seen, valued, and at home. Digital & Community Stewardship Oversee the community digital platform—content management, tenant communications, event promotion, and member engagement tools. Lead AI-powered concierge systems and member portals to enhance (not complicate) the tenant experience. Manage social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms—creating engaging, visually compelling content that tells the story of community and culture. Collaborate with our Marketing Commissary for maximized execution. Marketing & Leasing Support Contribute meaningfully to marketing and leasing activities. You know this property and community better than anyone—leverage that knowledge. Participate in leasing tours, prospective tenant conversations, and community open houses. Help marketing teams develop programming calendars, content calendars, and authentic tenant testimonials. Stakeholder & Vendor Relations Build strong partnerships with property management teams, ownership, RMC leadership, and on-site vendors. Coordinate across teams to ensure seamless tenant experience. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance standards for amenities, F&B, and programming partners. What We're Looking For Experience 3+ years in community building, hospitality, event production, food & beverage, or customer-facing leadership. Hands-on restaurant floor leadership—you've run shifts, led service teams, owned the guest experience through busy nights. Proven track record selling and coordinating private events or catering with existing hotel and convention center relationships. Demonstrated experience designing and executing distinctive, design-forward events integrating food, beverage, and community (think upscale dining experiences, creative culinary programming). Background in upscale, service-forward F&B operations. Experience managing technology platforms, digital member experiences, or online community engagement tools. Who You Are Naturally magnetic and genuinely engaging. People want to be around you. You're trustworthy, interpersonally confident, and form relationships effortlessly. Deeply curious about culture, food, design, and retail. You stay current with interesting restaurants, cutting-edge brands, and emerging trends. Social media native active on Instagram and TikTok—you understand storytelling, visual composition, trending formats, and what makes content resonate. You can create engaging, authentic content. AI-literate and eager to experiment. You see AI as a tool to enhance experience and free you for high-impact work. Core Competencies Exceptional communicator who leads conversations, inspires participation, manages expectations, and represents Rebees with warmth and clarity. Highly organized and detail-oriented—you thrive managing multiple moving pieces. Creative problem-solver who sees possibilities, not just limitations. Budget-conscious and financially literate, delivering distinctive programming without waste. Data-aware—you gather feedback, measure engagement, analyze what works, and adjust accordingly. Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with technology. Familiarity with property management software (MRI, Angus), marketing automation, and AI-assisted workflows valued. Physical Demands Regularly stand, walk across properties, set up event spaces, and move equipment. You'll be on your feet during events and restaurant shifts. Evening and weekend work required. What We Offer 20 days paid vacation | 12 company holidays | 10 sick days | 100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and short-term disability | Telemedicine coverage | 401(k) match up to 4% (immediately 100% vested) | $50K Life/AD&D policy plus voluntary options | Voluntary long-term disability, accident, and critical illness insurance | Flexible FSA/HSA options | Competitive maternity leave package.
