Submit your application for the opportunity below: Paramedic AirLife Job Summary and Qualifications The AirLife Adult/Pediatric Transport Team Paramedic utilizes their experience, education, and training to both autonomously and collaboratively deliver critical care to critically ill and/or injured patients aboard fixed-wing aircraft, rotor wing aircraft, and ground ambulance between medical facilities or directly from the scene of an accident or illness. The Adult/Pediatric Transport Paramedic provides care to a broad age range of patients from infants (weighing> 5 kg) to geriatric patients. What you will do in this role: Coordinates, delivers, and documents all aspects of patient care in collaboration with referral teams, physicians, AirLife team members, patients, and families while adhering to established standards of care and scope of practice. • Works autonomously and collaboratively, adhering to AirLife clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures with minimal support., • Maintains confidentiality of PHI in accordance with AirLife, HCA, and HIPAA standards., • Demonstrates awareness of and routinely practices safe work habits and adheres to the AirLife Commitment to Safety., • Maintains proficiency in flight physiology, general aircraft, and ambulance safety operations, and emergency procedures., • Participates in quality improvement initiatives including chart reviews, data collection, and process improvement., • Supports the mission of AirLife and HCA including the pillars of Safety, Service, Quality, People, and Growth and adheres to the AirLife Rules of the Game, • Participates in outreach activities including transport safety and clinical education., • Completes orientation requirements within an appropriate timeframe as determined by AirLife Leadership., • Performs other duties as assigned., • Practices and adheres to the HCA Code of Conduct and AirLife Mission and Vision What qualifications you will need: • Completion of Paramedic Training Program required, • • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, • • 5+ years caring for diverse patient populations as a flight, surface transport, or in-hospital paramedic required, • • Critical care transport experience preferred, • Colorado Paramedic Certification with Critical Care Endorsement required at time of hire, • NREMT-P, • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required, • FP-C, • WY, KS, NE Paramedic Certifications, • Attends 8 out of 12 scheduled monthly Flight Staff Meetings in person, and completes Webex review of any unattended meetings, • Completes all required trainings for AirLife, HCA and AirLife vendors, • Maintains current and unrestricted drive's license Benefits HCA HealthONE AirLife Critical Care Denver, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
