Who are you? We’re looking for a Superintendent who is ready to take their career to the next level. Our Superintendents are the foundation of our Field Operations team. In tandem with Operations, you’ll be responsible for managing onsite activities, including the assurance of timely and safe completion, adherence with the contract documents, and observance of project budgets. Our Superintendents are also the standard of professionalism, developing and maintaining working relationships with the owner, architect, and all other related project participants. Your main responsibilities will include… • Reviewing and managing project budgets to ensure cost control and compliance, • Approving daily timesheets to allocate labor costs accurately, • Reviewing and submitting change orders promptly with proper documentation, • Monitoring costs and attending monthly profit review meetings, • Creating and updating project and three-week look-ahead schedules, • Coordinating subcontractors and materials to stay on schedule, • Tracking critical purchases and delivery dates to prevent delays, • Conducting regular safety inspections and enforcing compliance, • Performing daily quality checks and ensuring corrective actions, • Scheduling and overseeing required inspections and testing, • Building strong client relationships, • Understanding contracts to direct work and avoid cost overruns Your educational background & prior experience: • 5 or more years of experience in a supervisory capacity in the construction or engineering field, • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction, including technology, equipment, methods, scheduling, safety, and quality What skills will we require? • Field Leadership – Proven ability to manage all on-site construction activities from start to closeout with minimal oversight., • Strategic Planning – Skilled in developing and adjusting short- and long-term plans to meet evolving project goals., • Risk Management – Ability to identify and mitigate risks related to safety, schedule, quality, and budget., • Relationship Building – Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective partnerships with clients, architects, and subcontractors., • Operational Excellence – Expertise in driving field productivity, efficiency, and quality through best practices., • Safety Leadership – Commitment to promoting and maintaining a proactive safety culture on the jobsite., • Financial Acumen – Experience managing labor costs, ensuring scope compliance, and supporting project profitability., • Team Development – Ability to mentor, coach, and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and other field staff., • Decisive Problem Solving – Confident decision-maker under pressure with a focus on timely action., • Accountability – Holds self and team to high standards of performance, responsibility, and conduct.
