American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel nursing job in Upland, California. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Infusion, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 05/19/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Days, 4x10hrs, • Hours: 40 hrs/wk, • Start Date: May 19, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Outpatient infusion clinic serving adult oncology patients with an average daily census of 50, • Busy infusion environment with multi-drug chemotherapy regimens, • Patient ratio of approximately 6 patients per nurse per day, • Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (7:45 AM – 6:15 PM), • No weekend or on-call requirements, • Epic used for documentation; Epic experience preferred, • Pyxis medication dispensing system used, • Pharmacy, interpretation services, and social services support available on-siteRequirements, • Active CA RN license required, • BSN required, • Current BLS certification (AHA) required, • Chemotherapy Certification (Chemo Cert) required, • Minimum 3 years of RN experience required, • Oncology nursing experience required, • Required skills include: chemotherapy administration, IV push administration, continuous infusion, port access and management, central line blood draw and care, PICC line care, infusion pump management, phlebotomy, cytotoxic spill management, oral chemotherapy administration, IV hydration/multivitamins, antiemetic/antitumor/antibiotic/corticosteroid/neupogen/hormonal therapy administration, IV push narcotic agents, neutropenic precautions, and recognizing/communicating abnormal lab values, • OCN or ONS/ONCC certification preferred, • Epic EMR experience preferredAdditional Information, • Administer complex multi-drug chemotherapy regimens and manage infusion-related complications, • Preferred experience includes BMT, inpatient/outpatient oncology, radiation oncology, stem cell therapies, immunotherapy, bone marrow administration, graft rejection, graft-versus-host disease, oncologic emergencies (anaphylaxis, extravasation injury, hemorrhage, sepsis, spinal cord compression), and symptom management, • Preferred skills also include patient/family education, advanced directives, hospice care, post-surgical care, and medication tolerance/dependence assessment, • Orientation is 40 hours with additional time provided as needed With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
