Job Description The Life & Health Sales / Service Agent is responsible for selling, servicing, and retaining individual and small group life and health insurance clients. This role combines new business development with ongoing client service, including policy reviews, enrollments, renewals, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate is organized, compliant, consultative, and comfortable working with both prospects and existing clients. Benefits Annual Base Salary + Commission + Bonus Opportunities Paid Time Off (PTO) Hands on Training Career Growth Opportunities Retirement Plan Mon-Fri Schedule Responsibilities Sales & Business Development • Consult with individuals, families, and small businesses to assess insurance needs, • Present and sell Life, Health, and ancillary insurance products, • Generate new business through inbound leads, referrals, outbound calls, and follow-ups, • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals, • Accurately document sales activities in CRM systems Client Service & Retention • Service existing clients by answering coverage, billing, and eligibility questions, • Assist clients with enrollments, renewals, plan changes, and qualifying life events, • Maintain strong client relationships to support long-term retention, • Resolve client concerns in a timely, professional manner, • Coordinate with carriers and internal staff to resolve policy or claims issues, • Compliance & Documentation, • Follow all state and federal insurance regulations (including CMS, Covered California, and carrier guidelines), • Maintain proper licensing, appointments, and continuing education, • Ensure accurate and complete client records, • Active Life & Health Insurance License (California required; multi-state a plus), • 1+ year experience in life and/or health insurance sales or service (preferred), • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Basic computer proficiency (CRM, email, quoting/enrollment platforms), • High level of professionalism, ethics, and attention to detail, • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
