Job Summary We’re seeking a responsive, customer-focused IT Technician (Tier I) to join our fast-paced support team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for client issues, delivering quick technical solutions, assisting with onboarding and deployments, and ensuring an exceptional client experience. What You’ll Do • Serve as the initial point of contact for client support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system., • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier I issues, including workstations, software, printers, network connectivity, VoIP devices, and end-user applications., • Provide configuration, maintenance, and support for computers, peripherals, routers, switches, and network-related hardware., • Support implementation and programming of client IP and IP PBX systems, including phones and feature configurations., • Assist in onboarding new clients or users, including workstation setup, account provisioning, and equipment configuration., • Document work performed, solutions implemented, and hardware/software changes., • Communicate clearly with clients regarding status updates, timelines, and next steps., • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate more complex issues appropriately., • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by maintaining professionalism, accuracy, responsiveness, and follow-through., • Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-first mindset., • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly and professionally., • Solid understanding of basic networking, Windows operating systems, common business applications, and workstation setup., • Hands-on knowledge of hardware configuration, software installation, and peripheral support., • Excellent communication, time management, and documentation abilities., • Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and remain calm under pressure., • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for onsite visits., • Currently pursuing or holding one or more of the following is a plus: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent experience., • Bonus: familiarity with ConnectWise PSA, Automate, BrightGauge, and IT Glue., • Hybrid schedule: primarily work-from-home with scheduled office time., • Onsite dispatches: up to 10% travel to client locations., • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, • 401(k) with company match, • Paid holidays, • Paid Vacation and sick time, • Company Vehicle or Mileage reimbursement for onsite dispatches, • Company-provided home workstation (laptop, docking station, monitors, phone) At ITS, you’re more than a technician — you’re part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and long-term relationships.
