The Financial Operations Supervisor is accountable for assigning and overseeing respective team’s work including but not limited to, schedules and/or functions directly related to company/department standard operating procedures, goals, training/onboarding, ensuring responsibilities and tasks are executed well and timely, coaching, and mentoring individuals as needed, utilizing administrative data to help organize and coordinate personnel skills to complete work effectively. This position achieves goals through the work of others and possesses personnel management responsibilities including performance appraisals, pay reviews, training and development, hiring/separation. Role includes interaction with customers, carriers, interdepartmental collaboration including Solutions, Implementations, Pricing, Account Management, Sales, Finance, and Executive teams to name a few. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties may include but are not limited to the following: • Provide efficient and courteous customer service to internal/external client interaction., • Direct Team’s workflow, daily, • Ensures workload balancing amongst team members, task assignment and follow-through across all customers and/or carriers alike., • Training and onboarding new members to the department in accordance with procedures., • Give counsel on disputes and provides guidance on best practice to problem-resolution., • Effectively communicates with both internal and external parties, providing timely responses., • Cultivate and manage customer, carrier, and vendor relations (as applicable)., • Report and document in accordance with department Key Performance Indicators and goals., • Act as support contact for client escalations and resolution of issues, • Work productively in a team atmosphere, • Performs work out of one or many supporting systems (e.g. DeskPro, CRM, TMS, GP, MS Office, Power BI, etc.), • Assist other departments with inquiries and/or pursue escalation path (as needed)., • Validate employees’ timecards., • Manage team calendar and approve PTO., • Hold periodic lunch & learns for team training & development., • Review weekly productivity to ensure early detection of potential issues, reoccurring themes, upstream errors necessitating corrections, etc.., • Other administrative duties as assigned Required Skills and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
