The Product Engineering Supervisor will mentor the team responsible for bridging the gap between Maverick Power’s design engineering and manufacturing operations. This position oversees the Product Engineering, ERP Configuration, and Order Engineering functions to ensure seamless transition from design intent to manufacturable product execution. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement, standardization, and efficiency throughout product configuration, documentation, and release processes. This role requires a balance of technical acumen, leadership, and cross-departmental collaboration to deliver high-quality, manufacturable solutions aligned with company goals. Key Responsibilities: • Mentor the Product Engineering and ERP Configuration teams, providing guidance, development, and performance feedback., • Serve as the key liaison between Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Production Planning to ensure design intent aligns with manufacturability., • Oversee the governance of engineered product configurations within the ERP system to maintain accuracy, compliance, and standardization., • Ensure that Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, and product documentation are accurate, complete, and released to production on schedule., • Implement and uphold “design for manufacturing” principles to improve build efficiency and reduce production complexity., • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Sales, Project Management, Finance, Quality, and R&D) to support company-wide initiatives., • Review and approve product configuration standards, part numbering systems, and engineering change processes., • Support the roll out of standard products and designs from R&D to ensure compliance with standard processes and manufacturability., • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and data analytics to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce errors., • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production or design issues; drive corrective actions and design feedback loops., • Ensure compliance with all relevant UL, IEEE/ANSI, and NFPA standards as applicable to Maverick Power’s product lines., • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline., • Minimum 5 years of experience in product or manufacturing engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role., • Strong understanding of ERP systems, product configuration, and manufacturing data structures., • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)., • Experience with UL 891, UL 67, UL 1558, UL 508A, and related electrical product standards., • Proven ability to lead technical teams and collaborate across engineering, production, and business functions., • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills., • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
