Job Description Job Summary The Senior Project Manager plays a key leadership role in managing large-scale construction projects within LAUSD, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with district policies and state regulations. This position requires expertise in contract administration, dispute resolution, cost control, and strategic oversight of multiple projects, each with construction values exceeding $50 million. The Senior Project Manager II has broad program-level responsibilities such as driving improvements in project execution, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration across district departments. In addition to resolving daily Help Desk issues, this position will be assisting other IT functions with special projects and assignments as directed by the IT Supervisor and/or IT Director. • Diagnoses and resolves Level I/II technical issues related to laptops, desktops, Microsoft Office, Therefore (EDMS), Sandis, audio/video conferencing, RingCentral, VPN, Scrive, Adobe, Zoom, hardware, network connectivity, security and email systems. Provides additional support to the tech support team during periods of high call volume and increased ticket inflow., • Troubleshoot complex incidents and generates incident reports., • Ensures that notifications and status updates are accurate, and that procedures are followed and updates, as necessary., • Ensures that tickets are prioritized in accordance with business needs and are being closed in a timely manner., • Ensures agents are complying with SLA standards., • Creates and reviews, knowledge articles and instructional videos to support users and team members. Conducts quality assurance on resolved tickets and generates analytics in Freshservice as needed., • Responds to security incidents, reviews logs, and act as the first escalation point of suspicious activity for the rest of the support team., • Monitors agent availability in the tech support call queue and in Freshservice, ensuring timely assignment and resolution of support tickets., • Provides support to the Azure, Intune, Active Directory and Exchange environments and escalate issues to the IT Operations team as necessary., • Act as liaison between Support team and IT Operations team to perform required server-based functions, such as updating/creating/modifying network printers, stop/start local server services, and others., • Develops proficiency in new technologies introduced at NLACRC to effectively troubleshoot issues and provide training to staff for ongoing support., • Participates in planning, training and deployment of special projects and meetings, including testing, implementation, and post-implementation support., • Act as a first level of escalation of network troubleshooting before escalating to the operations team., • Support the board meeting and the VAC meetings as needed., • Act as the primary administrator for the ticketing system., • Perform research and development activities within Freshservice based on guidance and team objectives, • Enhance professional knowledge and skills through ongoing education and hands-on experience., • Must be able to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays and be on-call to support on-call CSC’s and other emergencies.
