Job DescriptionJob Summary The Security Guards are responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of a company's employees, visitors, and associated property. Required to patrol, respond to safety and security threats, and establish a security presence. The security department also functions as a front-facing customer service representative for Bradford Marine and must always be polite and professional and maintain good customer relations. Key Job Responsibilities • Protect the company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment, • Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter, • Monitoring alarms and surveillance systems, • Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates, • Investigates and writes reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards, and other security-related situations, • Provides any needed assistance to customers, employees, and visitors following the department's procedures, • Greeting visitors, checking them in, and directing them to the appropriate department, • May perform duties during required coverage as assigned, • performs other related duties as assigned by the security department manager Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
