Job Summary: The Commercial Service Supervisor at SafeTouch Security is a leadership and hands-on role, responsible for leading and training field service teams to perform complex repairs and maintenance on access control systems, video management and CCTV systems, security systems, and virtual security guard systems and software. This role is critical in ensuring safety, efficiency, and productivity while achieving first-call resolutions and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Commercial Service Supervisor will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and field team members, fostering clear communication and team cohesiveness to meet customer expectations and company goals. This role will require both project management and direct field installation/service responsibilities, including travel to client sites to ensure the successful delivery of SafeTouch enterprise-class solutions. Duties and Responsibilities: • Lead field teams, providing hands-on guidance and training on complex repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of access control systems, CCTV, security systems, and virtual security guard software., • Drive efficiency and productivity by optimizing Operations processes, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring proper resource allocation., • Oversee service operations to achieve first-call resolution whenever possible, minimizing downtime and repeat visits for customers., • Coordinate and oversee the work of subcontractors, ensuring integration with internal project teams., • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, ensuring effective communication, conflict resolution, and motivation among service team members., • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to access control, video management, CCTV, security systems, and virtual security guard software., • Maintain accurate records of Operations activities, including work orders, service reports, and customer feedback, to support operational transparency and continuous improvement., • Supervise and mentor installation technicians and subcontractors. Provide training, support, and guidance to ensure professional growth and project success., • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Address issues promptly and maintain strong customer relationships., • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, change orders, and documentation. Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders., • Ensure all service activities adhere to company safety protocols and industry standards, promoting a culture of safety among team members., • Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications., • Identify risks and project impacts; propose solutions to minimize schedule and cost disruptions., • Support customers with remote diagnostics and service troubleshooting when required., • Follow safety procedures and keep the job site clean, organized, and hazard-free, including thorough clean-up at the end of each project and workday., • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required., • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with the installation, service, and coordination of integrated commercial security systems (projects valued at $100,000+)., • Two or more years of supervisory or project leadership experience., • Strong knowledge of access control systems, video management and CCTV systems, security systems, and virtual security guard software. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex technical issues., • Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce experience preferred., • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate field service teams, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and productivity., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with clients, team members, and subcontractors., • Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and achieving first-call resolutions., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical and operational challenges in the field., • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, CCNA, or manufacturer-specific credentials) are a plus., • Safety first mindset., • Pass a drug screen and background check., • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets insurance requirements., • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including attics, crawl spaces, and roofs., • Stand, walk, or remain seated at a desk for extended periods., • Move equipment and materials up to 50 pounds., • Observe details at close range., • Handle products, take notes, operate technology, and present information., • Read documents and presentations using electronic devices and hard copy materials while interacting with others., • Exchange accurate information in person, over the phone, in writing, and electronically., • Communicate clearly and articulately for presentations and interpersonal interactions so others will understand., • May be exposed to loud noise., • Drive to work, client sites, and as business needs require., • Navigate uneven or slippery surfaces or both., • Safely ascend and descend stairs and ladders as needed., • Bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods., • Adequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power equipment, and heavy machinery. Work/Base Location: Tampa II Core Work Hours/Availability: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Overtime as business needs require.
