Location: Brooklyn Heights, New York City Compensation: $120K OTE, 100K Base + 20K Bonus Schedule: Full-time, in-person, 5-6 days/week. Saturday availability required. About the Role Atlanta Luxury Bags is hiring a Luxury Buyer to help lead our first New York City office in Brooklyn Heights. This person will be the primary operator of the office and will have a high degree of ownership, freedom, and responsibility. The core goal of the role is to help drive the office’s success by making strong-value purchases across jewelry, gold, diamonds, watches, and luxury handbags. This is not just a customer service or day-to-day buying role. We are looking for someone who can think commercially, make smart buying decisions, build seller relationships, improve processes, and identify what needs to happen to grow the office. The right candidate is polished with customers, comfortable negotiating, highly accountable, and excited to take ownership of a new market inside a fast-moving luxury resale business. Responsibilities • Greet & meet with customers selling jewelry, gold, diamonds, watches, and luxury handbags., • Guide customers through the evaluation, verification, offer, and payout process., • Inspect items, document key details, and follow company buying and authentication procedures., • Make and negotiate purchase offers based on condition, market value, demand, and company pricing guidelines., • Negotiate with customers in a professional, trust-building way., • Build relationships with repeat sellers, high-value customers, and referral sources., • Follow up with customers and help drive repeat business, referrals, and positive reviews., • Improve above processes via new uses of technology Qualifications • 2+ years of jewelry buying experience recommended., • Experience in jewelry, gold, diamonds, watches, handbags, pawn, estate buying, luxury retail, consignment, or resale is strongly preferred., • Strong customer-facing communication skills., • Comfortable working full-time in person in Brooklyn Heights., • Saturday availability required., • High integrity and strong judgment when handling valuable products and customer payouts. Preferred Experience • Familiarity with luxury brands such as Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Goyard, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, and similar brands., • Experience with watches, jewelry, diamonds, gold, and luxury handbags., • Experience using CRMs or commerce platforms such as Shopify., • Experience using AI tools in a business setting., • Strong digital savviness and ability to learn new tools quickly., • Experience working with high-value customers or VIP clients.
