About the Role: As an Airport Services Instructor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Airport Services teams are well-equipped, compliant, and confident in their ability to deliver exceptional service and safety every day. You will oversee all aspects of Airport Services Training, ensuring that all FAA manuals, FARs, and operational standards are trained, audited, and upheld to the highest standards. Your mission is to create a seamless, engaging, and compliant learning experience that empowers Airport Services Crew Members to perform with excellence and consistency across all JSX stations. This is an On-Site position located at the JSX Headquarters in Dallas, TX A Day in the Life: You’ll be… • Overseeing Airport Services Training: Leading and delivering Airport Services training programs across multiple JSX stations., • Ensuring Compliance: Training, auditing, and maintaining adherence to FAA manuals, FARs, 14 CFR Part 382, and company procedures., • Developing Programs: Building, maintaining, and continuously improving Airport Services training content, systems, and materials., • Certifying Trainers: Approving and signing off new Airport Services Station Trainers to ensure readiness and quality., • Coaching and Mentoring: Providing direction, feedback, and development to Station Trainers and Station Teams., • Driving Operational Excellence: Assessing station performance and collaborating across departments to meet corporate and local scorecard goals., • Supporting Process Improvements: Assisting the Training Manager in reviewing operational workflows to identify and implement efficiency gains., • Championing Safety: Promoting a culture of safety and compliance by identifying risks, mitigating issues, and maintaining SMS standards. What You’ll Bring Required Experience & Skills • 2+ Years of experience in training, facilitation, or teaching, preferably in aviation or service operations., • Proven ability to develop and implement training programs., • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for program documentation and reporting., • Excellent organization and administrative skills., • Strong writing skills for training materials/manuals with knowledge of FAA regulations and FARs., • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills., • Strong problem-solving and coaching mindset., • May be required to perform duties at other JSX locations., • In accordance with federal regulations, this role is open only to U.S. citizens. All candidates must successfully complete the required federal background checks and eligibility screenings. Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be eligible for employment., • Available to travel for recurrent station training or support. Preferred Experience • Prior experience in Airport Services or airline operational training. Physical Requirements • Intermittent physical activity includes bending, reaching, and prolonged periods of sitting or standing., • Ability to occasionally lift 75+ pounds Safety Responsibilities • Responsible for identifying safety issues, participating in risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with the JSX Safety Management System., • Acts as a risk mitigator and ensures safety policies are effectively trained and followed. Pay & Perks: Compensation is between $55,000 - $57,000 annually.
