Job Summary This role oversees the manufacturing operations to meet the company's performance goals and ensure that the product made and process in which they are made meet the customer specifications and schedule requirements while adhering to local, state, and federal regulations regarding manufacturing. Key Responsibilities • Responsible for all manufacturing operations which include production process flow, • Maintenance of facility equipment, and Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements, • Managing department personnel and ensuring that the team is following company processes/procedures that comply with certifications maintained by the company along with local, state, and federal labor/safety/environmental regulations, • Maintain and report periodical KPIs/metrics that show overall health of department that relates to the company's strategic objectives, • Institute and monitor process improvement practices to reduce time/materials needed to support customer requirements without sacrificing a high standard of safety and quality adherence, • Lead, manage and supervise an Operations Project Management team through multiple shifts, • Establish business processes that streamline the order fulfillment cycle, measuring performance, and driving improvement in communication, execution and lead time across these processes, • Develop business processes that engage with segment leaders and product line GMs to review product line performance to commitments, • Identify product line standard lead times and manage the business processes, • Review of backlog to ensure forecasts are being consumed by demand at usual lead time, • Lead cross functional departments to manage work transfer, linkage and flow, product/ process qualifications, and drive improvements to meet customer requirements and deliveries with a focus on safety, quality and on-time delivery, • Identify and mitigate potential delivery risks and recommend appropriate resolutions, • Track, monitor and control rapid response orders, • Review orders on the horizon and ensure Engineering is completing necessary planning, programming, tooling, to give manufacturing the proper lead time to build the hardware, • Customer milestone management, after order placement., • Support continuous improvement through optimizing processes or procedural steps, • Proven ability to manage changing priorities and aggressive timelines Required Skills • ERP knowledge and experience with concentration in process improvement, • Excellent organization and communication skills, • Interpersonal skills that include working with team and company with a diverse background, • Strong leadership skills across many areas of the business, • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application, • Executive Level communication, teamwork, and presentation skills., • Executive Level leadership/management and business acumen skills., • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels., • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills., • Sound judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions., • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to achieve results and respond to change., • Strong knowledge in ERP software, MRP, Scheduling and Planning systems, MS Office., • Able to compute, analyze, compile, compare and coordinate data and processes., • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow directions., • Strong microsoft office computer skills - Excel, Powerpoint, • Advanced project and program management skills - experience with using MS Project, • Ability to work well in a high mix high/ low volume, time sensitive, fast paced environment, • Exceptional communication skills, both writtern and verbal, • Must be hands-on with great people-management skills, • Self-motivated and demonstrate high level of integrity and commitment towards the set goals and targets, • Drive Continuous Improvement through initiative and collaboration with Engineering and Quality along with process rationalization and optimizing layout. Preferred Skills Able to perform tasks assigned with little to no supervision needed to complete Experience Requirements 10+ years in Operations within manufacturing, Production Control, Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Project Management Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree or five (5) years manufacturing work experience All offers of employment at Fralock are contingent upon clear results of a background check.
