How You’ll Make An Impact Own the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through closeout, while aligning execution with company strategy. Model program-level leadership that raises the bar for safety, quality, and financial performance. • Strategic Oversight: Manage multiple or large-scale projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals., • Budget and Profitability Management: Develop, monitor, and control project budgets to maximize profitability and ensure financial success., • Mentoring and Leadership: Provide guidance, training, and support to project managers and junior staff to develop team capabilities., • Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks early and develop mitigation strategies; resolve escalated project issues effectively., • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing high-level project status updates and anticipating future needs., • Process Improvement: Work with leadership to refine project management processes, tools, and best practices., • Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Oversee major contracts and ensure all subcontractors meet project requirements and standards., • Compliance and Safety Leadership: Ensure region-wide adherence to safety standards, codes, and regulations such as OSHA and NEC. Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and contractual obligations, • Education and Experience:, • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience through progressively responsible roles in the electrical field (e.g., Journeyman, Foreman, or Superintendent)., • 8+ years of experience in electrical contracting or construction, with 3+ years in project management or leadership roles., • Field Knowledge:, • Extensive hands-on experience with electrical systems, installations, and troubleshooting., • Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA regulations, and best practices for safety compliance., • Leadership and Mentorship:, • Proven ability to lead and mentor project teams, including field personnel, junior project managers, and subcontractors., • Experience in managing subcontractors, material suppliers, and other stakeholders on job sites., • Project Management Expertise:, • Strong skills in project planning, budgeting, resource management, and scheduling., • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)., • Experience managing change orders, RFIs, and project documentation., • Certifications (Preferred):, • PMP, or similar project management certification., • Electrical licenses (e.g., Journeyman or Master Electrician) are highly desirable., • Soft Skills:, • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills., • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to interact effectively with clients, executives, and field teams.
