Position Summary The Team Lead provides protective oversight to individuals with intellectual disabilities performing light assembly and packaging tasks in a manufacturing environment. This position teaches new job skills and assists individuals to achieve optimal performance of their assigned tasks within Department of Labor regulations and meets quality and production standards. Position Title: Team Lead Hourly Rate: $15.50 - $17.00 /hour, eligible for overtime Reports To: Production Director Job Type: Full-time Hours: 7:15 am to 3:15pm (hours may vary slightly) Position status: Non-Exempt Education: High School graduate, college preferred. Essential Duties: · Exhibit support of/and adherence to Values Statement · Train, coach, encourage, and motivate individuals and workers to efficiently understand and perform their assigned tasks. · Actively engage with each employee to help them reach their potential. · Assist with line set-ups or individual stations that best accommodate each employee while maintaining production efficiencies. · Follow established operational processes and meet production and quality standards. · Provide protective oversight of individuals through encouragement, moral support, and patient direction. · Verbally communicate primarily in English. · Communicate and/or report any employee behaviors, incidents and/or accidents. · Document employee activities as required by Associate Services Department. · Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and respect for individuals. · Follow all policies and procedures established by the Organization. · Must adhere to the Southeast Enterprise Attendance policy. · Enter labor, production, and quality data on a laptop device on a timely basis. · Maintain work area in a safe, clean, and organized manner. · Performs other related duties as directed by management. Minimum Requirements/Skills: Experience working with and/or willingness to work with diverse constituencies, respect the rights and dignity of those with disabilities. Professional demeanor, trustworthy and reliable, attention to detail, good communication skills, lead by example. Must have basic computer knowledge. Strong positive attitude and work ethic. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.
