Job DescriptionPosition Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable HR & Payroll Specialist to manage and support payroll processing and core HR functions. This role is critical to ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Administration • Process payroll accurately and on time using ADP, • Maintain payroll records, including wages, deductions, and tax withholdings, • Review and reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies, • Manage employee changes (new hires, terminations, pay changes, garnishments, etc.), • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, • Assist with year-end processes (W-2s, audits, reporting)Human Resources Support, • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, • Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy, • Benefits administration (enrollments, changes, employee questions), • Respond to employee payroll and HR-related inquiries, • Assist with policy administration and HR compliance documentationQualifications, • 2+ years of payroll and/or HR experience, • Experience with ADP (Workforce Now or similar preferred), • Strong understanding of payroll processes, taxes, and deductions, • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, • Ability to handle confidential information professionally, • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general HRIS systemsPreferred Qualifications, • Multi-state payroll experience, • Experience supporting benefits administration, • Knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance, • Experience in prevailing wage and certified payroll Compensation & Benefits, • Pay range: $25 – $30 per hour (based on experience), • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • Paid time off and holidays, • Retirement plan options Employment contingent upon a satisfactory MVR, pre-employment drug screening and background check.
