Job Description The Licensing Administrator supports the Licensing department by managing licensing processes and overseeing administrative functions for Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming operations. The Licensing Administrator must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced regulatory environment. This position is instrumental in facilitating licensing procedures and supporting the overall efficiency of KHRG’s Racetrack and Historical Horse Racing licensing operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: · Administer and oversee the licensing process for individuals and entities involved in KHRG activities. · Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies regarding KHRG licensure. · Review, approve, enter, and resolve discrepancies in licensure applications from organizations, facilities, distributors, and manufacturers for accuracy and completeness. Provide written correspondence regarding any deficiencies as soon as practicable, and store it electronically, in hard copy, or by other appropriate means. · Process changes requests and applications for KHRG. · Issue licenses through the Association of Racing Commissioners International licensing program when requirements have been met. · Independently provide written correspondence to applicants for licensure explaining policies and procedures. Serve as a point of contact for licensees and applicants, responding to inquiries and providing guidance on licensing requirements. · Recommend denial to department management for additional review. · Recommend policy and procedural changes as necessary to improve licensing processes. · Maintain accurate and up-to-date licensing records, databases, and documentation. · Provide support to internal and external stakeholders. · Assist in training of employees and licensees. · Provide administrative support to KHRG as requested. · Requires sitting at a computer for long periods. · Up to 25 pounds of lifting may be required. · Occasional overtime and/or alternate schedules as needed. · Weekends are required. · Holiday shifts will be required. · Occasional late-night work may be necessary. · Work may conduct in remote field office locations. · Responsible for dismantling various equipment, including computer setups, printers, and scanner, as needed. · Responsible for reassembling equipment following operational requirements. · Reliable and dependable transportation is required for job-related travel. · Other duties and tasks as assigned. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: · Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. · Minimum of 3 years of professional clerical, administrative, or business experience preferred. · Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide effective customer service to internal teams and external stakeholders. · Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating teamwork, adaptability, confidentiality, and initiative. · Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. · Proficiency in recordkeeping, database management, and Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook). AmeriPath Kentucky in Lexington, KY is seeking a full-time laboratory based General Surgical Pathologist. The pathologist will primarily be located at our read-only office in Lexington, KY. The work includes general surgical pathology with a high percentage of GI specimens. There also are some Non-GYN cytology specimens. The practice consists of two pathologists who share equally in the work. The call is very limited and with very infrequent calls, that can be handled via phone. No autopsies are performed. Rare assistance with grossing small specimens, such as colorectal polyp or endoscopic mucosal resection, is required. The scheduled work week is Monday through Friday. Job Description Overview Shriners Children's has an opportunity for a full time Certified Athletic Trainer. The ATC- Clinical will work in the outpatient clinic under the direction and supervision of a designated physician (or physicians). The ATC- Clinician will provide and facilitate optimal care as an essential team member of the sports medicine team. Position will work closely with respective physician(s) and communicate effectively with all team members of the sports medicine team in order to facilitate optimal outcomes for patients. Work closely with SC leadership to expand sports health and medicine in Shriners. Responsibilities • Working in SHC clinic on a daily basis providing detailed rooming tasks. Provide clinical services for Sports Medicine physician., • Offer Athletic training services in a provider clinical setting to patients, such as initial evaluation and working as clinical extender for both sports medicine and fracture clinics. This may be non-operative or operative., • Assist attending provider and medical staff in clinic to maintain scheduling and chart review., • Provide fitting of sports medicine braces recommended by physician and/or POS provided by the hospital., • May work as an Athletic Trainer Certified – Community, providing sports medicine coverage to community partners on an as needed basis. This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Qualifications Required • Degree in Athletic Training, Bachelor’s or Master’s, required, • 3-5 years in athletic training experience required, • Current Board of Certification (BOC) or applicable state credential required, • AT Licensure as required by the state where practice occurs • BOC Orthopedic Specialty Certified, • Additional supporting certification in orthopedic services (OPE-C, ROT. Reports issues to management as appropriate., • Maintains and ensures proper storage of all pool equipment. Places and removes lane lines., • Reports accidents and incidents to management. Completes required documentation and paperwork., • Performs Deck Teacher duties as needed., • Performs light cleaning duties such as window washing, deck mopping, trash removal etc. on occasion., • Attend required/mandatory workshops and in-service training outside of regular working hours.
