Job Description BronxWorks helps individuals and families improve their economic and social well-being. From toddlers to seniors, we feed, shelter, teach, and support our neighbors to build a stronger community. BronxWorks provides permanent supportive housing with an array of social services to more than 400 formerly chronically unhoused individuals and families throughout the Bronx. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES • Conduct on-site outreach and advertising to planned events, • Develop andmaintainconnections with internal and external agencies and companies, • Facilitate and planreoccurringall-client meetings, • Liaise with case management staff to collaborate on clients’ programming needs and concerns, • Conduct semi-annual client satisfaction survey, • Complete outreach to clients and disseminate programming information in person, email and/or telephone, • Participate in weekly supervision with supervisor, • Maintain records of client interactions in database, • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate various groups for the clients, • Complete monthly chart audits, • Preparing and being ready for an audit from internal or external funder at any given time, • Conduct and document all agency requirements, including but not limited to fire drills, occupancy, and incidents, • Complete monthly KPI reports to present to supervisory and executive staff, • Maintain office inventory and order complete purchase orders for new supplies as needed, • Manage procurement for entire program, including communicating with vendors to request quotes and submitting paperwork to BronxWorks fiscal department, • Complete outreach to clients and disseminate programming information in person, email and/or telephone, • Participate in weekly supervision with supervisor, • Maintain records of client interactions in database, • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate various groups for the clients, • Complete monthly chart audits, • Preparing and being ready for an audit from internal or external funder at any given time, • Conduct and document all agency requirements, including but not limited to fire drills, occupancy, and incidents, • Complete monthly KPI reports to present to supervisory and executive staff, • Maintain office inventory and order complete purchase orders for new supplies as needed, • Manage procurement for entire program, including communicating with vendors to request quotes and submitting paperwork to BronxWorks fiscal department, • Bachelor's degree, • One year of social services,workforceor event programming experience, • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data, • Strong writing and oral communication skills, • Strong presentation and creativity skills, • Excellent organizational, teambuilding and leadership skills, • Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods, • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, • Ability to stand, walk, or sit forlong periodsof time, • Ability to climb five flights of stairs, ifrequiredto conduct home visits and/or fieldwork, • Ability to bend and retrieve objects and/or documents, • Ability to travel in the boroughs of New York City and its adjacent counties via public transportation, • Ability to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including inclement weather, ifrequiredto conduct home visits and/or field work BronxWorks seeks to build an inclusive organization grounded in respect for differences.
