Job DescriptionPosition Description: Under the training and direction of the site administrators and VAPA teachers, tutor students in VAPA classes and coordinate student assignments with teachers. Personal: Qualifications • Correct usage of the English language, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary., • Oral and written communication skills., • Interpersonal skills, tact, patience, and courtesy., • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions., • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents., • Maintain confidentially and use discretion when working with students., • Tutor students in small groups. High school graduate, current enrollment in a two or four year college program or technical trade school and availability for all four days of tutoring assignment each week.
