Design, configure and implement HSRP, VRRP, BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF in a multi-protocol Network infrastructure. · Perform Network upgrade of VKC Systems which include Wi-Fi Access Points, Managed Switches, and Security Appliance of Cisco and Ubiquiti. · Design and Installed LAN/WAN network. The project consisted of a firewall with redundant WAN links, with a mesh VPN to every other firewall in the network and configure backup disaster recovery. · Managed fast Layer 3 switched/routed LAN/WAN infrastructure as a part of Network team. · Perform Network and System Security design, implementation, Configuration, and installation of OSPF network for Staten Island MTA substations. · Provide comprehensive Networking and Security services on large scale, stand-alone and networked locations capable, routers, switches, servers, and security applications. · Oversight of new Access Nodes, Application Nodes, CCTV systems, Data cabinets and access controls installation at various stations to implement & deploy the robust Network and System security design solutions. · Securing, Designing, Configuring, and managing Ubiquiti (Unifi Security Gateway, Unifi Switch 16POE, Unifi AP-AC-Pro) and Cisco Meraki (MX100, MS210, MR70) devices for Wi-Fi Network. · Configured various Cisco devices via Cisco dashboard GUI maintaining the System Security of LIRR (Long Island Rail Road). · Manage security solutions, including firewall and intrusion detection systems. · Provide Network design & Integration and Certification, Integrate Single Mode Fiber system (SMF) and Multimode fiber (MMF), Perform and generate technical documentation of Network Site Acceptance Test (SAT), Network Factory Test (FAT) and Network drawings for New York City Transit (NYCT) Network, Security & Data and Telecommunication projects. · Perform and Conduct On-Site fiber testing using iOLM, OTDR, OLTS, fiber Scope and perform Calculations of fiber loss to ensure proper Network connectivity and provide installation of high-level Network system & Security infrastructure for various NYCT (New York City Transit). · Perform network design and capacity planning. · Tested fiber optic cable with OTDR and OLTS testing equipment and produced final reports for clientele. · Coordinate with NYCT, MNR and LIRR Communication & Network Security /SCADA/User Group/Remote Control Center to conduct on site testing of all communication equipment inside their Network infrastructure to ensure proper functionality. · Provide technical support assistance and advice for Field Services Technicians. · Conduct research on Network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts. · Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports. · Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
