About You As an IT Financial Analyst, you will support and execute day-to-day financial operations that enable TASB’s technology environment. This role focuses on accurate financial reporting, strong financial governance, and data-driven insights aligned with TASB’s strategic initiatives. You will work closely with IT, Finance, Data teams, and the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making across Data and IT portfolios. This is a hybrid position with the successful candidate working at our North Austin headquarters at least 2 days a week. A Typical Day • Prepare and analyze monthly IT financial reports, including budget variances, trends, and risks, and communicate insights to Data and IT leadership., • Support chargeback, allocation, capitalization, and amortization processes by collecting, validating, and maintaining accurate financial data., • Support the administration of TASB’s IT chargeback and allocation models, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with financial policies., • Collect, validate, and incorporate financial data to support allocation modeling for enterprise-wide infrastructure and software costs., • Assist with annual budgets, budget amendments, and short- and long-range financial planning for Data and IT., • Prepare and analyze monthly IT financial reports, including analysis of variances, risks, and trends, and communicate findings to Data and IT leadership., • Support strong financial governance by ensuring IT financial practices align with TASB policies and the direction established by the Finance and Facilities service area, including internal control and compliance considerations., • Administer, maintain, and support financial allocation and project reporting systems, including system configuration, user administration, and end-user training., • Develop and maintain dashboards and automated reports using Power BI to deliver operational and portfolio-level insights.
