Job Description Job Title: Field Deployment Specialist - Mobile Office Set Up Job Description We are seeking an experienced Set Up Technician with 3–5 years of hands-on construction or modular office staging experience. In this role, you will install and connect electrical, plumbing, and HVAC components, assemble modular units, and ensure all systems function safely and reliably. You play a key part in preparing modular office spaces for use by customers, from site setup through final inspection and walkthrough. Responsibilities • Assemble, level, block, and anchor modular units in accordance with established standards and specific site requirements., • Install and connect electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and skirting components to ensure full functionality of modular units., • Assess site conditions, unload materials, and stage equipment to support a safe and efficient setup process., • Install furniture, fixtures, partitions, appliances, and accessories according to customer orders and layout specifications., • Conduct thorough final inspections, verify structural stability, test utilities, and confirm units meet quality standards., • Perform walkthroughs with clients, address minor adjustments, and confirm the units are ready for immediate use., • Safely operate forklifts, hand tools, power tools, and site vehicles while adhering to all safety procedures., • Complete all required jobsite paperwork, service logs, and digital checklists accurately and on time., • Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues that arise during setup., • Follow strict safety protocols on active jobsites to protect yourself, your team, and customers. Essential Skills • 3–5 years of experience in staging modular offices or related construction, maintenance, or installation work., • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry sufficient to install and connect components safely., • Mechanical aptitude with experience in construction, carpentry, electrical work, or general labor., • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs, work outdoors, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday., • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction practices., • Comfort working on active jobsites and consistently following strict safety protocols., • Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues., • Effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members., • Ability and willingness to work outside in all weather conditions, including winter., • Valid driver’s license. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience as a maintenance technician or in mechanical installation is highly beneficial., • Prior experience operating forklifts and other site vehicles., • CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is a plus., • Experience assembling and installing furniture, fixtures, partitions, and appliances in commercial or modular settings., • Strong attention to detail when completing paperwork, service logs, and digital checklists., • Ability to work effectively as part of a team of 6–8 production associates.
