Job DescriptionCardiac Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient Cardiology Office | Virginia Beach, VA Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Nights or Weekends Do meaningful cardiac work—without hospital hours. Our outpatient cardiology team is seeking a skilled, motivated Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, fast-paced office setting. This is a full-time opportunity where your cardiac expertise truly shines—supporting providers, educating patients, and making a real impact every day. Why You’ll Love This Role • No nights, weekends, or holidays, • Consistent Monday–Friday schedule (40 hours/week), • Outpatient environment with hands-on cardiac care, • Team-oriented culture with opportunities to expand your skills Direct Patient Care Includes: • Blood pressure follow-up visits, • Medication reviews and education, • Performing and reviewing EKGs, • Assessing and supporting walk-in symptomatic patientsClinical & Care Coordination Responsibilities:, • Conduct incoming and outgoing clinical calls for triage and phone assessments, • Review cardiac testing and lab results and communicate treatment plans per provider direction, • Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR), • Provide patient education and reinforce care plansCross-Training & Skill Expansion Opportunities:, • Cardiac stress testing, • Heart monitor application, • Coumadin clinic support, • Assisting ultrasound technicians with bubble studies and enhanced echocardiography imaging agents, • RN diploma, Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia, • Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred, • Prior cardiac nursing experience strongly recommended, • Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR), • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and analytical skills, • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills The Registered Nurse practices at a competent level using the nursing process to deliver safe, evidence-based care. This role upholds professional nursing standards including assessment, care planning, implementation, coordination of care, patient education, evaluation, ethics, collaboration, quality improvement, and patient-centered communication across all clinical activities.
