Job Description Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is recruiting a Restoration Supervisor for a full-service restoration company located in Placentia, CA. Restoration Supervisor Compensation and Benefits: • $70K-$80K, • Health Benefits, • Laptop, • 401K, • Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays The Restoration Supervisor will oversee the field operations on restoration projects, ensuring work is completed safely, as well as all aspects of quality control as it relates to field projects, customer service, production, and profitability. This role coordinates crews, manages job progress, communicates with clients and project managers, and ensures proper use of equipment and materials. The supervisor is responsible for maintaining quality control and delivering excellent customer service throughout the restoration process. Restoration Supervisor Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the Scheduling coordinator to ensure we are always on top of our current and future schedules, • Provide oversight and instruction to technicians and lead technicians in their daily tasks, • Provide assistance to Project Managers and Technicians to guarantee all projects run smoothly, • Take ownership to mitigate any conflicts between the homeowners and technicians, • Assist in the orientation process for production new hires and collaborate with the Admin and Finance Manager to allocate equipment, phones, laptops, and vehicles, • Accountable for Inspecting and Monitoring job setups from start to end, • Ensuring daily all vehicles are clean and stocked properly with all tools and equipment necessary for each job every day. Monitoring equipment scans, inventory and necessary repairs, • Building strong relationships with the production team and maintaining their morale to ensure they are in the best possible position to carry out their responsibilities effectively, • Ensuring that our company's core values are implemented throughout the Production Team, • As the company Safety Officer, the Restoration Supervisor works closely with the Admin & Finance Manager to ensure we are providing a safe work environment compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, and performs safety trainings as required, • Ensuring that all the employees are fully equipped with sufficient knowledge & resources to perform their respective duties, • Continuously train production staff including Scheduling Coordinator, Lead Technicians, Technicians, Dry Tech Technicians and Contents Technicians, • Supports the Project Managers in all aspects, including customer service, as needed, • Purchasing, stocking and inventorying materials as needed and maintaining an efficient distribution system to the team so that inventory levels are appropriately monitored, • Working alongside the Admin and Finance Manager to onboard new employees, • Supports the Admin and Finance Manager with all vehicle and facility maintenance needs, • Assist in conflict resolutions with customers and technicians as needed, • Ensure proper pre and post testing are being performed with proper documentation, • Ensure change orders are approved prior to work commencing, • Secure all necessary permits and inspections, • Staying up to date with all the required software applications at all times, including Inventory Shield, Encircle, Xcelerate, Time Net, Verizon Connect and relevant chat rooms, • Scheduling, managing, and coordinating all temporary labor to ensure optimum efficiency Restoration Supervisor Requirements: • 2-4 years in restoration, 1 year in a supervisory role, • Preferred Certifications IICRC, WRT, ASD, AMRT, FRST, • Must speak bilingual, • Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills (detailed oriented person), • Strong leadership and team management skills, • Knowledge of restoration processes, • Abiltiy to read work orders, estimates and scopes of work, • Ability to recognize and solve problems independently, • Strong communication and negotiation skills, • Be considerate of others-Everyone and everything, Excellent customer service, Do the right thing, • No problem attitude-We always find a solution, Collaborate and support, We turn adversity into opportunity, • Go above and beyond-Communication, Responsibilities, We always leave people, places, things, better than we found them., • No matter what- We take ownership, We G.S.D., We rise to the occasion.
