As a US-based warranty provider, we provide expertise in safety and homecare to our customers. Our integrated solutions meet customer needs both inside and outside the home. Inside the home we protect critical aspects of home function such as plumbing, heating and cooling, appliances, power surges, hot water heater, and interior electrical. Outside the home we provide protection for critical lines (water, gas, wells, sewers, electric and septic). We primarily go to market B2B2C, partnering mostly with water/gas/electric utilities and municipalities to offer our product leveraging their brand for marketing and often adding our subscription fee to the water/gas/electric bill itself. Position Summary Able to assist lead installer with installation of furnaces, condensers, humidifiers and accessories. Understands all electrical wiring of furnaces, condensers and thermostats. This includes high and low voltage wiring. Must be able to assist with install of sheet metal duct systems, connect gas lines, cut and thread pipe, install copper refrigerant line to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing. While our headquarters is in Naperville, this role is field-based and requires regular travel to customer home locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Assist the Lead Installer in completing high-quality residential HVAC installations., • Receive daily assignments from dispatch, arrive on time at job sites, and perform work to meet company standards., • Promote warranty products to Pivotal customers during installations., • Operate a company vehicle responsibly; a valid driver’s license and refrigerant certification are required., • Maintain a strong commitment to safety in all work and driving activities. We're Excited if This is You Experience and Requirements of the Role: • Physical tasks such as climbing, heavy lifting (50–60 lbs), crawling, and working in extreme hot or cold outdoor conditions., • Use of ladders to access equipment, navigating crawl spaces and attics to locate furnaces and registers., • Must be comfortable working at heights., • Strong safety awareness, including overhead hazards, equipment operation, and proper use of PPE., • Ability to reach, bend, extend, and lift as needed for the role., • Valid driver’s license and refrigerant certification required. Computer Skills Needed to Perform the Job • Proficiency in Microsoft and google suites., • iPhone usage Education High School, GED, Vocational training in HVAC. Must continue education of HVAC through classes the company requests attendance. The base pay range for this position is $16.82 - $26.44 hourly. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set. The compensation offered may also include an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive plan or commission target.
