Job Description We are seeking candidates for an onsite Financial Reporting Manager for a financial sector client in the Jackson metro area. This key team member will have an active role in financial reporting and analysis, month-end closing, ad hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasting and projections. Responsibilities: • Perform financial and operational analysis to support decision-making., • Compile monthly statistical and financial reports., • Manage the month-end close process., • Analyze budget-to-actual financial results monthly., • Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as needed., • Extract and organize data to support reporting and analysis., • Ensure timely and accurate completion of bank reconciliations., • Develop models, analytics, and assumptions for the loan portfolio., • Prepare and support the annual budgeting process., • Improve processes for combining data across systems to support management reporting., • Communicate analysis results and key findings to leadership., • Collaborate with the accounting team to enhance use of operational metrics within the accounting system. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required; master’s degree preferred., • CPA designation is a plus., • 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate or public accounting roles with a focus on financial reporting and technical accounting., • Advanced knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel., • General knowledge of and experience with data extraction tools., • Exceptional math and problem-solving skills. Compensation: • $70,000 - $80,000, depending on experience., • Comprehensive benefits package.
