Job Description Purpose of the Role Using a status-neutral approach, the HIV Youth Services Specialist engages LGBTQIA+ youth, ages 13-24, through outreach, testing/screening, linkage, education, and supportive services. They conduct HIV/STI testing and screening for all youth, access to PEP/PrEP/Doxy-PEP and contraception, and linkage to care services through navigation support, facilitate evidence-based interventions, and connect youth to sexual health care and other essential resources – such as mental health care, housing support, Pantry services, medical appointment support, assistance enrolling in insurance, and more. Using a trauma-informed, sex-positive approach, the Specialist promotes risk reduction, prevention, and youth empowerment. Essential Functions: % Time Role Description 60% Contractual Obligations 1.
