Carer required to support small team providing care to an elderly gentleman with an acquired brain injury. Previous experience working with people with dementia or acquired brain injury essential.
Duties include medication dispensing; general domestic duties; providing opportunities for social interaction; some personal care; shopping, personal and emotional support.
Hours are on a rota basis. Care is required 7 days a week shared with other carers. 9am - 12noon for general day duties and 4:30pm - 5:30pm to provide a meal.
The location is Plymouth City Centre. The role is on a self employed basis with the hourly rate dependant on experience, above minimum wage. Car driver with own vehicle desirable but not essential.
Position may suit a retired person, or someone who wishes reduced hours of work.
