    What We’re Looking For • Print & Production Experience: (Training available if no experience). Key Responsibilities Machine Operation: Run and maintain equipment for screen printing, Direct-to-Garment (DTG), Direct-to-Film (DTF), heat press, or embroidery. Job Setup: Prepare print files, mix inks or load thread colours, and align screens or substrates accurately. Quality Control: Inspect printed items during and after production runs to check for colour accuracy, correct placement, and curing quality. Finishing and Packing: Fold, pack, and label completed orders for dispatch. Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean and perform routine, troubleshooting and cleaning on machinery.

Sales & Customer Service § Customer Advice: Recommending fish species and cuts, explaining flavour profiles, and suggesting cooking methods or recipes. § Order Fulfilment: Weighing, pricing, and packaging products accurately, while processing cash or card payments. 1. Display & Merchandising § Ice Management: Building and maintaining fresh beds of crushed ice to keep products cool and visually appealing. § Attractive Presentation: Arranging fish, shellfish, and value-added products (like pre-stuffed fillets) to attract buyers. 1. Stock & Hygiene Management § Inventory Control: Taking delivery of fresh supplies, rotating stock to minimize waste, and ordering inventory from wholesalers. § Food Safety: Complying with strict food hygiene and health & safety regulations by keeping tools sterilized, maintaining cold storage temperatures, and disposing of waste properly. Position: Full Time / Permanent Working Pattern: Alternate weekly Schedule [ 5 days or 5 – 6 days /week, 40 to 45 hours/week] Monday to Sunday. As a Bakery Production Supervisor at Ottolenghi, you will: • Oversee the daily production of the Packed Product section, ensuring production is completed accurately and on time., • Supervise the preparation and baking of a range of bakery products, ensuring recipes, methods and production standards are consistently followed., • Maintain high standards of quality, taste, texture, appearance and consistency across all finished products., • Carry out regular quality checks on ingredients and finished products, identifying and addressing any issues promptly., • Lead, support and develop junior bakers and other members of the bakery team, creating a positive and collaborative working environment., • Delegate tasks effectively and monitor progress throughout the shift to ensure productivity and smooth workflow., • Support the training and development of junior bakers, including labelling requirements, food standards and correct production procedures., • Assist with monitoring stock levels and ensuring ingredients and supplies are available when required., • Support effective stock rotation and help minimise food waste and unnecessary costs., • Ensure the bakery operates in line with food safety, health and safety and hygiene standards at all times., • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment., • Carry out regular checks of bakery equipment and report any maintenance or operational issues., • Support staff scheduling and effective deployment of the team according to production requirements., • Maintain accurate production, inventory and waste records., • Work closely with the wider bakery and CPU management team to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and ways of working., • Lead by example, remaining hands-on and supporting the team during busy periods. What we’re looking for • 3+ years’ professional baking experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role., • Strong knowledge of professional baking techniques, ingredients and production processes., • Experience working in a busy, high-volume bakery or food production environment., • A strong understanding of quality standards and the importance of consistency in bakery production., • Experience supervising, training or mentoring other team members., • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and health & safety requirements., • Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively., • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams., • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure., • Someone who takes pride in their work and has a genuine passion for producing high-quality food., • A supportive and inclusive leadership style, with a genuine interest in helping others develop.
