SEND Teacher (Autism / SEMH) Location: Surrey Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £44,000 – £53,000 About the Role An expanding specialist education provider is seeking a passionate and resilient SEND Teacher (Autism / SEMH) to join a newly established secondary school supporting pupils aged 11–16. This role focuses on delivering a nurture-based, structured and personalised learning approach for young people with: Autism (ASC) Social communication needs Emotional regulation challenges & Sensory processing differences You will play a key role in creating a safe, consistent and engaging learning environment where students can thrive both academically and emotionally. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching tailored to individual needs Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the national curriculum Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies Set, monitor and review individual targets and EHCP outcomes Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff and leadership teams Monitor progress and provide clear reporting to stakeholders. Contribute to EHCP reviews, PEPs and LAC meeting.
