Marketing Manager - Automotive Aftermarket \n Letchworth, Hertfordshire \n £43,000 - £48,000 + 10% Bonus + 7% Employer Pension + Private Healthcare + Excellent Benefits \n Love cars, understand what makes automotive enthusiasts engage with a brand and want the freedom to shape a European marketing strategy rather than simply execute somebody else's? \n This is an opportunity to take ownership of European marketing for a rapidly growing global automotive technology business operating at the heart of the performance, tuning, diagnostics and calibration market. \n You'll have genuine autonomy to develop the strategy, create campaigns, shape content and decide how the brand engages with tuners, dealers and automotive enthusiasts across Europe. \n And this isn't a marketing role where you'll spend your life briefing agencies from behind a desk. \n You'll be close to the cars, customers and content, from dealer visits and product launches to race events, video shoots, influencers and social media. \n If you're commercially minded, creative and genuinely passionate about cars, this could be a fantastic role to make your own. \n Why Apply? \n\n • £43,000 - £48,000 basic salary, with flexibility for exceptional experience\n, • Annual bonus potential of 10%\n, • 7% employer pension contribution\n, • AXA private healthcare after probation\n, • Life assurance at 4x salary after probation\n, • 22 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays\n, • Significant autonomy over European marketing strategy\n, • Work within the automotive performance and tuning industry\n, • Opportunity to influence the growth of a rapidly expanding global automotive technology business\n, • International exposure and travel\n, • Work alongside a passionate automotive team\n\n The Opportunity \n You'll report directly to the Director of European Operations and take responsibility for how the business markets itself across Europe. \n Your objective is straightforward: increase brand awareness, engage the right automotive audiences and help drive sales growth. \n You'll own the European marketing strategy and budget, but you'll also remain close to delivery. \n That means developing campaigns, directing content, overseeing social media, managing paid advertising, supporting product launches, working with influencers, attending automotive events and making sure marketing activity translates into commercial results. \n Content & Social Media \n Content is a major part of this role. \n You'll lead the social media strategy and manage the Social Media Coordinator, providing the ideas, direction and commercial thinking behind the content being produced. \n You'll therefore need to understand the whole content creation process, not simply how to post on social media. \n Digital Marketing \n You'll also take responsibility for the wider digital journey. \n That includes developing paid advertising campaigns across Meta platforms, defining audiences and messaging, monitoring performance and creating landing pages that convert interest into enquiries and sales. \n You'll work with the wider international web team to develop the European website, monitor performance through Google Analytics and identify improvements in customer engagement and conversion. \n Influencers, Events & the Automotive Community \n This is where your genuine interest in cars becomes particularly important. \n You'll identify relevant automotive influencers, negotiate partnerships and develop campaigns that put the brand in front of the right audiences. \n You'll also plan and attend car shows, race events and other industry activities across Europe, overseeing everything from logistics and branding to networking and content capture. \n Working With Sales \n Marketing and sales won't operate in separate worlds. \n You'll work closely with the European sales team, using customer feedback and commercial priorities to influence campaigns and content. \n What We're Looking For \n There are two things that are particularly important. \n You need to understand the automotive aftermarket or tuning industry. And you need to genuinely love cars. \n You'll be creating content for people who understand tuning, performance and vehicle technology, so you'll need the interest and credibility to understand what will resonate with them. \n You'll also need: \n\n • Strong experience developing and executing marketing strategy\n, • Excellent knowledge of social media and content creation\n, • Experience of storyboarding, scripting, filming and editing\n, • The ability to conceptualise and direct creative campaigns\n, • Paid social experience, particularly Meta\n, • Google Analytics experience\n, • Adobe Creative Suite knowledge\n, • Strong written and verbal communication skills\n, • Excellent organisational and project management skills\n, • Confidence managing multiple campaigns and priorities\n, • A creative, inquisitive and commercially minded approach\n\n Additional European language skills would be advantageous. \n Where Will You Work? \n Ideally, you'll be based at the European office in Letchworth, Hertfordshire. \n However, there is some flexibility for an exceptional UK candidate who cannot relocate, with hybrid working considered on the basis of a minimum three days per week in the Letchworth office. \n Why Consider It? \n This is a chance to combine a professional marketing career with a genuine automotive passion. \n You won't simply inherit a calendar of campaigns and be asked to keep them running. \n You'll have the autonomy to decide how the brand grows its European presence, which audiences it targets, what content it creates and how marketing can contribute directly to sales. \n If cars are what you talk about outside work as well as something you understand professionally, this could be exactly the sort of marketing role you've been looking for. \n Apply today, and Stewart Lupton at JSL Solutions, specialist in industrial and automotive aftermarket recruitment, will be in touch. Alternatively, call Stewart for further information. \n JSL Solutions – Recruitment...The Right Way. \n Specialists in senior commercial and leadership recruitment for manufacturers and distributors across the automotive and industrial aftermarket. \n \n
