We are looking for an experienced and creative Chef to work alongside our team and under the direction of our Head Chef. Ideal candidate would also be happy to contribute and help in improving existing brunch and dinner offerings as well as helping out in daily running of all aspects of the Kitchen. Summary of the role: - Assisting and taking instructions from the Chef de Partie - Accurately measuring all meal ingredients - Washing, peeling and chopping vegetables and fruits - Cutting and seasoning different meats - Preparing basic dishes such as salads and sauces - Keeping a track of the inventory supplies - Ensuring that the food items are stocked properly in refrigerators and freezers - Maintaining proper hygiene standards and ensuring that the workstation remains clean at all times - Accepting deliveries of food items and maintaining a stock record of the same Requirements - Complete knowledge of the industry’s best practices, hygiene, and safety standards - Familiarity with various food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment - Excellent hygiene standards - Good time management and organizational skills - Strong communication and listening skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks - A team player as well as able to work independently Benefits: - Cycle to work scheme - Meals - Company pension scheme - Team events
CASUAL/ PART TIME ROLE. **Grill masters and frying gurus and join our 2024 events team for Nanny Bill’s!! ** Kicking off in May our food truck and gazebo set up will be travelling the UK. - You will need to be more than comfortable in a kitchen environment and used to longer days. Events experience will be a benefit. - High energy, super friendly and fun vibes is what we bring to our events circuit (As well as good music and banging burgers of course!!) - Some of the events are weekends staying away in a camping environment. (your own camping stuff is needed for some, although we may be able to help!) - Travel to locations can be arranged however, if you drive or have a vehicle - that would be advantageous!! - Training will be offered for 2 week period in fixed location in london ahead of festival season starting What we offer: £10-£15 per hour depending on experience and age, plus bonuses.
