We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a fast-paced fit out construction project in Walsall for a 35-week programme. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of all health, safety, and compliance matters on a live site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with current legislation. Key Responsibilities • Lead all site health & safety activities throughout the project lifecycle, • Ensure full compliance with HSE legislation, CDM regulations, and company procedures, • Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, • Review and monitor RAMS, permits, and safe systems of work, • Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings, • Investigate incidents, near misses, and implement corrective actions, • Work closely with Site Managers, subcontractors, and client teams, • Maintain accurate site records and compliance documentation, • Promote a positive safety culture across the project Requirements • Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager within construction / fit out projects, • Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and CDM Regulations, • NEBOSH General / Construction Certificate (Diploma desirable), • Relevant CSCS card, • Excellent communication and leadership skills, • Ability to work independently and drive standards on site, • Fit out, refurbishment, commercial, retail, or live environment experience desirable What’s on Offer • 35-week project with immediate start, • Competitive day rate or fixed-term salary, • Opportunity to work on a high-profile fit out scheme, • Supportive and professional project team Apply Now To apply, please send your CV and availability details for immediate consideration
